Indie Corner Week 29: Lapintet

Lapintet is a four-member pop rock band formed in 2016. While for some bands having a lot going on in their songs could be seen as a weakness, Lapintet uses this as their strength to stand out from the rest. Believe it or not, vocalist Shihono’s powerful and melodic voice brings a calming, understanding tone to what’s happening throughout all of the chaos in their songs. This is very evident in their songs "0.03秒の盲信"(“0. 03-Byo no moshin”) and “Dramatic”

Currently Lapintet released two mini albums 111 (2017) and Movement (2018), with one single “おちゃらか” (“Ocharaka”) released in 2017.

FLOW Sets To Release Their First Original Album Since 2016!

Five-member rock band FLOW announce the news of their latest album titled TRIBALYTHM, set to release on April 10. TRIBALYTHM the groups eleventh album overall will be their first album released since #10, back in 2016.

Including popular tracks like “Break it down”, “PENDULUM”, and “ONENESS” the album will roll out with fourteen tracks total with a limited edition including a Blu-ray copy of a two hour documentary on FLOW’s concert at Nippon Budokan.

Flower Brings New Album For The First Time In Four years!

Popular pop/dance group Flower announced that for, they will be releasing a new album entitled F set to release on March 27. F is Flower’s third original album overall and will be their first original album since 花時計 (Hana Tokei) back in 2015. While the track listing for F has not been announced yet, it will release with three editions, a CD Only regular edition and CD+DVD/Blu-ray version limited edition.

Dream Ami To Release Her First Single Of 2019!

Vocalist and former member of E-girls Dream Ami announce her first single of 2019 single titled “Good Goodbye” set to release on March 13. “Good Goodbye” will have three tracks total with “Good Goodbye” being chosen to be the main theme to the movie Osomatsu-san the movie (Eiga no Osomatsu-san). “Good Goodbye” will be released in two versions, a CD only regular edition version and a limited edition CD+DVD version.

AIMYON To Release Second Album!

After making an amazing debut in Kohaku with her song “Marigold”, vocalist AIMYON a Japanese pop singer under Warner Music Japan label, is slated to release her second full length album Shunkanteki Sixth Sense on February 13.
