VAMPS Announces Complete Box Set

Rock band VAMPS had announced their last album, COMPLETE BOX- GOLD DISC Edition-, being released on November 28. Although the band has taken an extended break starting this past December, the album will be used to commemorate their tenth anniversary.

The box set will include a special edition “Gold Disc” version of all five of VAMPS albums which you can see below. Also included are Blu-ray versions of all of their various live concerts, along with their episode of MTV Unplugged, and all of their music videos.

Preorders are available on the UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE site, from August 3 to September 2 for 32,400 yen.

NMB48 Captain Sayaka Yamamoto Announces Graduation!

Idol group NMB48’s captain, Sayaka Yamamoto, announced today that she will be graduating from the group. This announcement happened during “NMB48 LIVE TOUR 2018 in Summer” in Tokyo. Yamamoto stated that “she will giving it her all up until her last day and wants her fans to do the same”. Her graduation date will be announce on a future date on the NMB48’s official site.

Yamamoto has been in the 48 system since 2010 and has been with NMB48 since it debut.

Ayumi Hamasaki celebrates her 20th Anniversary with a New Album

Vocalist Ayumi Hamasaki has announced a new album, Trouble, being released on August 15. Trouble is being released to commemorate her 20th anniversary in the music industry. This will be released with six different editions total, with a Jacket A edition  and Jacket B edition. It will be released in CD Only, CD+DVD, and CD+Blu-ray for each Jacket. The CD+DVD/CD+Blu-ray are mu-mo exclusives and can only be ordered within Japan. For those of you who don't know, mu-mo is a Japanese shopping website that sells exclusive CDs and concert goods. The CD Only versions are available on CDJapan for pre-order. 

According to mu-mo's website, each version will contain only five tracks each on the CD and the DVD/Blu-ray's for each Jacket will contain a different concert. "We are the QUEENS" and "WORDS", which were previously released will be included on the album, as well as three new tracks. The mu-mo exclusives also come in a deluxe box, with a photo card, and a signed heart shaped keychain.

Keyakizaka46 Drops The Music Video For Their Latest Single!

Super idol group Keyakizaka46 released the music video on their official YouTube channel for their upcoming single, “Ambivalent”, being released on August 15. “Ambivalent” is the group’s seventh single overall and will have Yurina Hirate once again taking the coveted center role for the single.
