May'n Commemorates 15th Anniversary With New Releases!

Popular vocalist May’n released three mini albums on November 11: 15Colors -soul tracks-,15Colors -unplugged-, and 15Colors -nu skool-. They were dropped on all digital platforms to commemorate her 15th anniversary in the music industry. May’n started out under the name May Nakabayashi before later taking her stage name. Each mini-album contains five songs each, totaling up to 15 songs to match her 15th Anniversary. May’n is most well known for theme songs of the anime series Macross Frontier, Macross Delta, Shangri-La, Ancient Magus Bride, Azur Lane, Blood Lad, and Btooom, to name several.

May’n will also be holding a concept live tour titled May'n Concept LIVE 2020『15Colors』 December 26 to commemorate her anniversary. The set list for this live has been reported to feature tracks recently released from her 15Colors -soul tracks-,15Colors -unplugged-, and 15Colors -nu skool- mini-albums. The set list has not been released but tickets are currently on sale at E-Plus and ZAIKO. There are four different types of tickets available for purchase, including a viewing ticket or a viewing ticket with special goods. More information will be announced at a later date.

URBANGARDE Spreads Subculture Online for Upcoming Utsu Fes 2020!

URBANGARDE announced that their yearly subculture music event Utsu Fes (“Depresion Festival”) will be transmitted online this year.

URBANGARDE’s earlier plans to stage the 2020 “UTSU-LYMPICS” to match the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games have been postponed due to ongoing pandemic In its place, the band will present an abbreviated lineup in front of a sold-out live audience, broadcasting worldwide from Tsutaya O-East in Shibuya on Sunday, September 13. In addition to URBANGARDE’s first live performance in six months, Utsu Fes 2020’s lineup of Japanese subculture artists will include Atarashii Gakkou No Leaders, Kenji Ohtsuki, and Eren-Chan, who will each perform a special collaboration with URBANGARDE in addition to their solo sets.

ONE OK ROCK Announces Field of Wonder Livestream Concert from a Stadium to the World!

The bar for livestream concerts has officially been raised by the powerhouse four-member rock band ONE OK ROCK, which they announced they will be holding a Field of Wonder virtual concert. This online concert experience will be one of a kind in that the band will be performing with full stadium production at ZOZO Marine Stadium in Chiba, Japan, without an in-person audience.

The concert will be produced and hosted by ONE OK ROCK’s own proprietary livestream platform and will broadcast live globally on October 11, 2020, at 6:00 PM Japan time (5:00 AM USA ET). Following the original broadcast, fans will be able to stream Field of Wonder again for a limited period of time online.

The Rock Sound Award 2018 winners for "Best Live Performance", ONE OK ROCK will play a mix of songs across their iconic repertoire of albums 35xxxv, AMBITIONS, Eye of the Storm and more. ONE OK ROCK’s acclaimed 2019 album Eye of the Storm features lead singles "Stand Out Fit In", "Wasted Nights", and "Change", and is available on all digital platforms worldwide.

Last year, ONE OK ROCK headlined the Eye of the Storm World Tour, selling out theaters and arenas globally prior to touring in support of Ed Sheeran in Asia as part of his Divide World Tour.

Shonen Knife US tour dates announced!

Shonen Knife has released the dates for their upcoming US tour entitled "ALIVE in the U.S.A. 2018". This tour will commence from August 28 till October 6 and has twenty six dates total all across the United States, starting in Buffalo, NY and ending in San Diego, CA.
