The full six-track single will also include ‘polar night’ written by TSUMIKI, a musician known for ‘Tokyo Shandy Rendezvous’, the ending theme for 2022’s Urusei Yatsura reboot, and who is also responsible for Vocaloid mega hit ‘Phony’ (the official video on YouTube has over 45 million plays, with countless covers and reuploads).

‘Princess’ Happy Ending’s full single will also see Uesaka reunite with long-time collaborator TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFTGREEN-FUND for the track ‘RENGAKU: Portable Humanoid’. The creative force has worked on several Sumire Uesaka tracks through her long career, ranging from bouncy electronic track ‘Koisuru Zukei (cubic futurismo)’, the music video to which has been watched close to three million times on YouTube), to the distinctively Japanese-sounding ‘Riverside Lovers (Naraku no Koi)’.

Around this time last year, I passed the audition. During that period, I wasn’t attending school and spent a lot of time soul-searching, so I’m immensely grateful to FlyingDog for choosing me.

Lately, I’ve found myself in a situation where I can only truly express myself through song, so I’d like to sing as much as possible.

To all of you reading this, I’m Yuyu. I hope we can get along ♡September has arrived, so let’s all take good care of ourselves. Thank you very much.

Akane Kumada Releases “Another Self,” Ending Theme Song for Classroom for Heroes, Along with Lyric Video for “Take My Chance” Featuring Kaede Higuchi!

“Another Self” Jacket Cover

On September 6, the versatile voice actress/artist Akane Kumada released her latest single “Another Self,” the ending theme song to the anime series Classroom for Heroes across all digital streaming services.
While sticking to the world view of the anime, “Another Self” fully reflects Akane Kumada’s current state of mind and her understanding that facing oneself and accepting one’s weaknesses is a source of growth. It is an ambitious song with a relaxed tempo that features the latest pop sounds combined with a Lantisesque sound from the past. In addition, the single includes “Take My Chance” featuring Kaede Higuchi, who sings the anime’s opening theme song. This track, with its punk vibe and engaging call-and-response elements, is the kind of song you’d definitely want to experience at a live concert. Be sure to give it a listen!

In conjunction with the release, a lyric video for “Take My Chance” has also been released. This marks the first-ever appearance of Akane Kumada as an illustrated character in a music video, especially created for this song. The video wonderfully captures the song’s essence with a vibrant pop style, and we highly recommend giving it a watch.

Be sure to check out “Another Self” on all streaming services here, and check out the lyric video for “Take My Chance” below!

Kamen Rider Gotchard opening theme song video released alongside episode 2! Surprise “kick song” by Beverly also out!

Kamen Rider Gotchard has begun broadcasting on TV Asahi, and with the second episode broadcast on September 10, the opening credits with the theme song ‘CHEMY×STORY’ by BACK-ON was unveiled for the first time.

The first episode did not include opening credits, but the song was used within that episode as well, and a “TV size” short version of the song and a lyric video have also been released. This cheery song is like an early-morning alarm call, becoming an instant hit with fans – and now that it has been featured in the opening credits, the song’s momentum has only increased.

The song was composed by KENJI03, who also performs as BACK-ON. KENJI03 wrote the theme song ‘Trust · Last’ for Kamen Rider Geats under the name Hi-yunk, and also composed an additional song, ‘Chair’, for the same series under his BACK-ON moniker – each of which received a great response. This is his third Kamen Rider song, and his second as BACK-ON, establishing him as a top Kamen Rider artist beloved by fans.

Also on September 10, episode 2 featured a surprise insert song that has taken fans by storm. Soundtracking Kamen Rider’s trademark Rider Kick, the new “kick song” was performed by Beverly, who previously performed the theme song for Kamen Rider Build as PANDORA feat. Beverly! It has been quite a while since Beverly performed a song for the series, and also some time since a high-profile insert song was featured so early in the series, so the song was met with surprise and joy by Kamen Rider fans.

The title of this “kick song” is ‘Rising Fighter’. It will be released on download and streaming services from midnight Japan time on September 11 and can be located on all streaming platforms here!

Be sure to check out the lyric video version of ‘CHEMY X STORY’ below!
