Helsinki Lambda Club Brings a Fan Favorite to their Sleepy Era!

Three-member rock band Helsinki Lambda Club released the music video for their track 「眠ったふりして」 (“Nemutta Furishite”) on their official YouTube channel. Released across all digital music streaming platforms, the track was originally produced about eight years ago during the pretend band era of Helsinki and has undergone a major remake. The updated version will be included in the new album Eleven plus two / Twelve plus one releasing on November 25. The music video was directed by photographer Takeshita Tomohiro, shot on 8mm film, and is starring Airi Arimura, a talent who the band has been fans of for a long time. Releasing with thirteen tracks total, Eleven plus two / Twelve plus one will also drop with a CD-only standard edition and will be the latest physical release done by the band since Tourist back in December of 2018.

Fall In Love With Mirei Touyama's Newest Release!

Pop vocalist and music corner alumni, Mirei Touyama, has released her latest digital single and music video for “Iya Iiya” on November 3! “Iya Iiya” is a mid-tempo pop song that has R&B influence in it. The hashtag for this new digital single is #私はそれでも恋をする (Even if, we’ll never give up to fall in love) and is a beautiful love song. This follows up her four cover songs that she released from September 30 throughout October, “Daimeiwakusei,” “Giai,” “Kakurennbo,” and “HACK.” The music video for “Iya Iiya” is simplistic and cute, showcasing falling in love. “Iya Iiya” is currently streaming on all digital platforms and make sure to check out the music video below!

Lia Commemorates 20th Anniversary With Special Releases!

Pop vocalist, Lia, who is renowned for her theme songs for anime and visual novels is commemorating her 20th Anniversary with several special releases. On November 25th, Lia is simultaneously releasing her Lia 20th BEST and Lia 20th Anniversary Special Live 2019 at Toyosu PIT. Along with both releases, Lia’s label, 1st PLACE, released two digital best-of albums on October 28th, titled Lia 20th Anniversary -Another History- and Lia 20th Anniversary -Brilliant Memories-.

Lia is known for her theme songs to the popular anime and visual novels of “AIR”, “Clannad After Story”, “Angel Beats”, and “Charlotte” to name a few. Some of these tracks include “Tori no Uta” and “Farewell Song” from the anime AIR and “My Soul, Your Beats” from the anime Angel Beats. All the tracks from Lia 20th BEST were chosen on her website through a fan poll. Lia 20th Anniversary Special Live 2019 at Toyosu PIT is the first and long-awaited Blu-ray from Lia and was filmed on December 20, 2019 at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo. Lia will also be performing at Zepp Diver City in Tokyo December 5th and 6th to celebrate her 20th Anniversary and these two wonderful releases.

Lia 20th BEST will be released in one edition: a 2CD standard edition and will include a total of 26 tracks. Lia 20th Anniversary Special Live 2019 at Toyosu PIT will also be released in one edition: a Blu-ray only and has a set list of 16 live performances and includes a special live performance of “Life is like a Melody” that was recorded after the encores! milet Drops Teasers For Upcoming EP!

Vocalist milet has dropped two teasers for her upcoming EP Who I Am that will release on December 2. The teasers “The Hardest” and “One Touch” give a sneak-peak into her latest EP. “The Hardest” is a gorgeous ballad and is being used as a theme for the drama Nana-ri no Hisho (Seven Secretaries) and was written after milet read the script for the show. “One Touch” is a simple and upbeat track that is being used for the Kao “Flare Fragrance” commercial. EXILE Shines In Fiftieth Single

Male vocal and dance unit EXILE has announced they will be dropping their fiftieth single. Titled “Sunshine,” the track is set to be released on December 16. This comes shortly after long term member EXILE ATSUSHI announced he will be graduating from the group and right before the group enters their twentieth year in the Japanese Music Industry. 

“Sunshine” is being released in five editions total: a standard CD-only edition, a CD plus DVD edition, a CD plus Blu-ray edition, a CD plus two DVDs edition, and a CD plus two Blu-rays edition. The single DVD and Blu-ray editions feature the music video for the title track. The two DVDs and two Blu-rays editions will feature not only the music video for “Sunshine” but also the concert, "EXILE PERFECT LIVE 2001→2020" which was held on February 25 at Kyocera Dome.
