Seiichi Yamamoto Reflects on Himself Once Again with Upcoming Album!

Vocalist Seiichi Yamamoto announced that he will be releasing a brand-new album, selfy, on November 18. This comes off the heels of the release of Yamamoto’s latest digital single “windmill” and will be his latest album since うた (Uta) five years prior. Satoshi Yoshioka will be handling the rhythm track for the release with Yamamoto doing the guitar and vocals himself. It will come with nine tracks total and will include digital singles “windmill” and “Flare”. The album will also drop with a CD-only standard edition.

AAA Mixes Things Up With Latest Release

Music group AAA has announced they will be dropping a brand-new remix album titled AAA Mix CD which is set to be released on December 9. This is the latest release since the group stopped performing earlier this year, as the group wanted to take the year off to focus on solo projects. The new album takes tracks throughout the group’s whole career which spans from 2005 to 2020.

AAA Mix CD is being released in two editions total: a standard CD-only edition, and a limited edition that will also be CD-only. The limited edition will also come with a fragrance tag and a coaster. The CD will feature a total of eighteen tracks. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with the complete track listing.

Arlequin Brings the Power to the Fans with Upcoming Best of Album!

Four-member rock band Arlequin announced that they will be releasing both a best of album and a music video compilation in February of 2021. This will be the latest album release from the band since The laughing man back in August and will be “produced” by the fans. 

There will be three types of voting: song voting, track list order voting, and jacket cover voting. The song voting is accepted through a dedicated form (Japanese only) until 20:59 on November 2nd. The track list order voting will start on November 15th, and jacket cover voting will start on November 21st at 12:00. In addition, the band is looking for catchphrases for the best of compilation album from November 28th to December 5th at 20:59, and for titles for the best of compilation album after November 28th. The application will be completed by tweeting with the Twitter hashtag “#アルルカンベストアルバムを作ろう” (#Let's make the Arlequin best album) during the period, and the result will be announced at a later date.

The music video compilation is simply called, MUSIC VIDEO COLLECTION and will feature twenty-fan favorite tracks along with a new track made for the compilation.

KIRA Gives New Meaning of Hell in Latest Release!

R&B singer-songwriter and music corner alumni KIRA released her latest digital single, “Go to hell,” on all digital streaming platforms on October 29. “Go to hell” follows up KIRA’s latest digital single “Don’t text me”, and is her fourth digital single of 2020. “Go to hell” is a powerful track, not just musically, but lyrically as well. It starts off slow and you can feel KIRA’s powerful vocals pull you in with her deep lyrics. The music video for “Go to hell” was released the same day as the digital single and is directed by ISSEI. ISSEI has directed several of KIRA’s past music videos such as “Lovin’ you”, “Don’t text me”, and “Bye Bye Boy”, to name a few. ISSEI is known for his colorful backgrounds and use of cinematography. FLOW Sing About A New World In Latest Single

Rock band FLOW has announced they will be dropping their thirty-fifth single titled “Shinsekai” which is set to be released on January 13. The new song will be used as the upcoming opening theme for the card battle anime, Shadowverse. According to the band, “I thought that it would be possible to combine the original game world view and the majesty of the card design, as well as the feeling of opening and excitement as an OP, so I layered a classical choir. I think I was able to express the solemnity in it."
