EXILE ATSUSHI Turns New Chapter At Forty With New Album

Singer and performer EXILE ATSUSHI revealed he will be dropping his fourth album, titled 40 ~forty~, which is set to drop November 4. This will be ATSUSHI’s first album in six years; his last album, Love Ballade, was released in 2014. The new album is a “breakaway from the past” with ATSUSHI’s fortieth birthday—this past April 30—being a turning point. 

40 ~forty~ is being released in five editions total including a standard CD-only edition, a CD plus DVD edition, a CD plus Blu-ray edition, a two-CD plus four-DVD edition, and a two-CD plus four-Blu-ray edition. The standard CD will feature a total of ten tracks while the DVD and Blu-rays will feature music videos. The second CD is an acoustic album which will contain a total of six tracks while the second, third, and fourth DVDs and Blu-ray will feature a live show and a documentary about ATSUSHI. Two of the songs on the base CD, "Rinne" and "Osaka Tokyo", were made in collaboration with megastar artist Koda Kumi.  Pre-orders are up and posted below along with the complete track listing for all editions. MORISAKI WIN Breaks Out the PARADE With Solo Debut Mini-album!

Up-and-coming vocalist MORISAKI WIN announced that he will be releasing a brand new mini-album, PARADE, August 19. He is most famously known for his time in the dance vocal unit PRIZMAX. This will be the latest release by the artist since his track “パレード - PARADE” and this will be his solo debut mini-album. The release will come with five tracks through a CD-only standard edition.

9mm Parabellum Bullet Studies Chaos In New Album

Rock band 9mm Parabellum Bullet announced they will be dropping a tribute album titled Chaosmology which is set to drop September 9. Also on this date 9mm Parabellum Bullet will be releasing their ninth single, titled “Byakuya no Hibi”.

Chaosmology is being released in a single two-disc set which will have a total of eighteen tracks. The first disc will feature songs by THE BACK HORN, straightener, FLOWER FLOWER, and BLUE ENCOUNT and feature instrumental versions of songs by Arukara, →Pia-no-jaC←, fox capture plan, mudy on the Sakuban, and Ryu Matsuyama. The contents of the second disc have not yet been revealed.

“Byakuya no Hibi” is being released in a single CD-only edition. There will be a total of three tracks on single and the full track listing is posted below. Pre-orders are up and also posted below along with 9mm Parabellum Bullet’s last single “Namonaki Hero” for everyone to check out.

Kojoe Beats Felicia to it With Latest Collab Track!

Rapper Kojoe announced that he will be teaming up with sound production team ADD CREATIVE for a brand new track “Bye Girl”. It was released this past week across all digital music streaming platforms and its music video was made available on Kojoe’s YouTube channel. ADD CREATIVE member Fukuoka handled the composition and NARISK produced the track. This is one of the debuting tracks from the Kyushu based production team since debuting originally in April. The release dropped with both the track in question along with its instrumental—for fans liking the beat as well. The track holds a very western style with Kojoe’s freaky rhymes and Fukuoka’s mesmerizing melody, which needs to heard to be believed.

Da-iCE Dreams On With Avex

Five-member boy idol group Da-iCE announced they will be dropping a brand new single titled “Dreamin' On” which is set to drop August 26. Da-iCE has been signed under Universal Music Japan’s sub-label Universal Sigma since the group formed in 2011 but on June 27 it was announced that the group will be transferred from Universal Sigma to Avex Trax. “Dreamin’ On” will be the group’s first release under Avex. Da-iCE has always been under the management of Avex Management Inc. This is the start of a six-month promotion campaign that will have a new song released each month with each song “targeting all five senses”.

“Dreamin’ On” is being released in three editions: a standard CD-only edition, a limited edition type A which comes with a bonus DVD, and a limited edition type B which will also come with a bonus DVD. The type A limited edition DVD features a “TV Special” entitled “Da-iCE TV Special” plus the music video for “Dreamin’ On” and a making-of documentary. The type B limited edition features a newly recorded indie song titled “FIVE” by “FIVE 2020” plus a “FIVE 2020” solo recorded movie. There is also a bundle edition which includes all three editions of “Dreamin’ On”. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with their song “YAWN” which is the group’s latest song.
