The Raid. Announces New Single And New Release Date

Visual kei band the Raid. announced they will be releasing a brand new single, titled “Kamisama Mosukoshi Dake”, set to drop August 25. The band had another single, “Kimipuri”, which was due for release at the end of July but had to be moved back due to the pandemic. Well, now the release date for “Kimipuri” has been moved to August 25.

“Kamisama Mosukoshi Dake” is being released in three editions total: a Type A edition which will come with a CD and DVD, a Type B edition which will be CD-only, and a Type C which will also be CD-only. The Type A single will include the title track with a unique B-side track while the DVD will feature the music video for the title track. The Type B single will feature the title track and have a unique track for the B-side. The Type C single will only feature the title track but will also come with an M-card which will feature live footage.

“Kimipuri” will be available in three editions as well: a Type A edition which will be CD + DVD while both Type B and Type C will be CD-only. The Type A edition DVD will feature a music video and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video. Type B and Type C will feature a unique M-card. Pre-order links for both “Kamisama Mosukoshi Dake” and “Kimipuri” are posted below along with the group’s last music video, “One Night Kareshi”.

Music Corner Week 51: ACE Collection

ACE Collection is a four-member rock band that got started in December of 2017 on YouTube doing covers of popular songs. To this day, their most popular video is their cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” which has garnered over four-million views. It also happens to be the very first song that they ever put up on YouTube. Their first single was their song “Anger” which dropped on December 12 of 2018. Since then they’ve dropped three albums and six singles. 

Tatsuya leads ACE Collection as the main vocalist, but he also plays a wide variety of instruments including guitar, percussion, piano, bass, electronic, and beatbox. Tatsuya has soft but powerful vocals that really shine through in “Yakusoku No Shiori,” a ballad on their latest album Love. LIKI is the main guitarist for the group and has a deep knowledge of songs that are used in various anime. Kanade is the bassist and really likes hardcore emo and has been touring Japan since he was a teenager which gives him the most practical experience of the group. Lastly, RIKU is the drummer of the group and participated in the solo project of X JAPAN/Toshi, gaining experience in metal, jazz, fusion, and EDM.

ACE Collection performs a great range of songs, from high energy songs like “Red Wind Labyrinth” and “Haikei, Kimiwa” to great ballads like their song “Yakusoku No Shiori”. PUNPEE Shows Whose Kingdom It Is With Upcoming Release!

Vocaislt PUNPEE announced that he will release a brand new EP, The Sofakingdom, July 1 across all digital music streaming platforms. This will be the latest release by the artist since his album MODARN TIMES back in October 2017 and will be his first release of 2020. The EP will drop with five tracks, all of which written by PUNPEE himself. STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION Brings a Session to his Fans with Latest Release!

Vocalist R・O・N’s solo sound project STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION released a brand new single “Session” across all digital music streaming platforms and will be his first-ever digital single. The digital single had its track production, vocal recording, and produced completely at his own house during the stay home orders of the ongoing crisis. The song started out as a fan participated project. “While the time spent at home was growing for everyone, I still wanted everyone to enjoy music even if it was for a little,” says R・O・N

By “Enjoy Music Together and Make Everyday Happy” being the theme, the original track sound was first revealed on YouTube for the fans to send in claps and instrumentation play along. The final track of the song is compiled and mixed with the fans’ sounds. Furthermore, the lyric had been written after fully digesting the messages received through the project. “I wanted to respond to the feelings of everyone who supported me.” Knowing that the song is connected with the artist and fans touches the heart. “Session” is a heartwarming song that was able to be born because of the current situations.

For those not in the know STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION is the sound making project of songwriter/music producer,  R・O・N who produces various sound contents and music for varieties of popular Japanese artists and Anime. R・O・N himself sings on the project's songs but also welcomes guest vocalists and guest musicians actively with the style of having the flexibility to correspond to what the world is in demand. R・O・N has been reputable for his distinct programming arrangements with it being able to adapt to various genres of music along with his catchy and artistic sounds. R・O・N has over 100K listeners on his Spotify and his song “Chronos” has streamed over 1100K.

SPARK!!SOUND!!SHOW!! Reintroduces Who They Are With Surprise Release!

Four-member punk rock band SPARK!!SOUND!!SHOW!! announced that they will be dropping a brand new album, This is SPARK!!SOUND!!SHOW!!, as a surprise release across all digital music streaming platforms. This was the latest release by the band since their album NU BLACK back in September of last year and will be their fifth album overall.
