CUBERS Releases New Song Ahead Of First Album

Boy group CUBERS released a brand new music video ahead of their upcoming debut album Major Of Cubers which is set to drop June 24. The new music features the five guys in individual panels which they rotate in and out of. The lyrics were written by Hanane Fukuda while the composition was crafted by Hirose Hirose. The music video was directed by Mani Kato and each member was filmed one at a time in order to maintain social distancing.

Major Of Cubers is being released in two editions including a standard CD-only edition and a limited edition which will come with two bonus DVDs. TOWA TEI Shows Fans His Magic With Latest Music Video!

To celebrate the release of his latest vinyl, mixmaster TOWA TEI released the music video for his track “MAGIC With HANA” on Columbia Music Jp’s YouTube channel. The video was released to honor his thirtieth anniversary in the music industry. Directed by Takeshi Nakamura of the media company CAVIAR, the video makes use of stop motion animation through the use of mannequins in a unique way that needs to be seen to be believed.

DEEP SQUAD Wants to Get With You Through Debut Single!

Newly dubbed group DEEP SQUAD announced that they will be signing with Sony Music and making their major label debut with “Get With You” July 22 across all digital music streaming platforms. Passing the DEEP VOCALIST AUDITION~FINAL STAGE~, newly dubbed members Yuhi Uhara, Ryoji Sugiyama, and Suzuki Higa will be learning from their elder members’ legacy career as DEEP. The juniors hope that they are able to meet the expectations of this monumental opportunity.

ARGONAVIS Show Fans the Starry Line With Upcoming Album!

The male version of the popular Bushiroad franchise BanG Dream!, ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream!, announced that it’s first band ARGONAVIS will be releasing their first album Starry Line August 12. The album will drop with ten tracks and include hit songs “星がはじまる” (“Hoshi ga Hajimaru”) and “Starry Line”, the latter of which written by Tomoyasu Tabuchi of UNION SQUARE GARDEN fame along with Kou Nakamura. Tabuchi will also be handling the composition as well teaming up with Shuhei Yanagidate and commented that “it will hold a pop melody that will be a delight for all fans.”

Starry Line will be released with two editions: a standard CD-only edition and a CD + Blu-ray limited edition. The Blu-ray will include footage from their second live, VOICE -星空の下の約束- (Hoshizora no Shita no Yakusoku), which took place in December of last year.

ANGERME Takes A Look In The Mirror In New Single

Girl idol group ANGERME announced they will be dropping a new double-A side single titled “Kagiriaru Moment / Mirror Mirror” which is set to drop August 26. The announcement came as a surprise after the main part of a live video which premiered on June 12. The video itself is only available if you live in Japan. The new song will feature eight of the nine members since Oota Haruka is still on hiatus.

“Kagiriaru Moment / Mirror Mirror” is being released in five editions total. Two editions will be CD-only editions and three editions will be released with a CD + DVD. The CD-only editions will be standard type A and type B while the CD + DVD editions will be limited edition type A, type B, and type SP. The DVD for the limited edition type A will feature the music video for “Kagiriaru Moment” while the type B will have the music video for “Mirror Mirror”. The limited edition type SP will feature dance videos for both songs. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with the group’s song “Zenzen Okiagarenai SUNDAY” which was on their last single.
