Attractions Put the Pressure on the Other Side With Upcoming Release!

Popular four-member Brit rock band Attractions announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “Blood Pressure”, across all digital music streaming platforms on June 24. This will be the latest release by the band since “Chain Reaction” back in April and will be their second digital single of 2020. To garner more attention from their fanbase the band announced that this will be their first track fully sung in Japanese and hopes that fans will like the change of pace that they take for the upcoming release. NGT48 Has Pink Sherbet In Upcoming Single

The last time anyone saw the AKB48 sister group NGT48 was when they released their fourth single titled “Seikai No Hito He” on October 3, 2018. We now, after a year and nine months, finally know what the fifth single for NGT48 is going to be. The new single will be titled “Sherbet Pink” and is set to be released July 22. “Sherbet Pink” was announced on SHOWROOM and will have all thirty members participating in the new song.

“Sherbet Pink” is being released in three editions total: a type-A edition and type-B edition which will both be CD with DVD and a third edition which will be a limited edition only available through the AKB48 group shop. Pre-orders are up for types A and B, which you can check out below along with their last single “Seikai No Hito He”.

BUCK-TICK Brings in the MOONLIGHT With Upcoming Single!

Five-member rock band BUCK-TICK announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “MOONLIGHT ESCAPE”, August 26. This will be the latest single released by the band since “堕天使” (“Datenshi”) back in January and will be their thirty-ninth single overall. Vocalist Atsushi Sakurai will be handling the lyrics with lead guitarist Hisashi Imai in charge of the composition. The single will be released with two tracks and drop via three editions: a CD-only standard edition and CD + DVD/Blu-ray limited editions, both which will include the music video for “MOONLIGHT ESCAPE”. Unfortunately there are no pre-order links for the single currently but check out the music video for “Datenshi” below!

Nana Mizuki Announces Her Marriage!

Popular vocalist Nana Mizuki announced that she got married this past week on July 6th! The announcement came during Mizuki’s blog on the Japanese romantic date of Tanabata that this year is important to her on all fronts of not only being her fortieth birthday, but also her twentieth year in the music industry, and the year that she got married on top of that. The vocalist announced that her husband is involved with the music industry and thanks all of her fans who supports her career.

Ayumi Hamasaki Brings First Song of 2020!

Japanese pop icon and industry veteran Ayumi Hamasaki brought us her first song of 2020! The new track “Ohia no Ki” debuted during the dorama “M Aisubeki Hito ga Ite” on July 4th. This is the first Japanese titled track since Ayu-pan’s debut in 1999 and the first release since her mini album TROUBLE in 2018. “Ohia no Ki” is a ballad number composed by Kazuhito Kikuchi, who also worked on several of Ayu-pan’s famous tracks “Who….” and “HEAVEN”. On her official twitter and instagram accounts on July 4th, Ayu-pan also posted her impressions of the dorama “M Aisubeki HIto ga Ite”, which came to an end with its final episode. This coinsided with the release of her CM for “Ohia no Ki” during the final episode. Ayu-pan and avex trax, took to YouTube and released the official full length audio track and the CM.
