DISH//'s New Mini-album Comes Full Circle

Boy group DISH// finally revealed the details of their new mini-album titled CIRCLE which is set to drop February 26. CIRCLE will contain a total of six tracks including “PM 5:30” which was written by the group’s own Takumi Kitamura. CIRCLE is being released in four editions total including a standard edition which will be CD-only, a limited edition that will come with a blanket, a limited edition Type A that will come with a bonus DVD, and a limited edition Type B that will come with a bonus CD. Maiko Fukagawa Announces Departure from HKT48

Maiko Fukagawa of HKT48 revealed that she will be graduating from the group with her last performance being on February 22. The reason Maiko is stepping down from the group is because she is wanting to concentrate on her education in order to become a dietitian. We want to wish Maiko the best of luck in her future endeavors and schooling.

Karin. Turns Back to a Simpler Time With Latest Album!

Up-and-coming vocalist Karin. announced that she will be dropping brand new album Melancholic Moratorium February 12. This will be her latest album since Identity Crisis back in last October and will be her second album overall. Albeit being a quick turnout since Identity Crisis, Melancholic Moratorium will be released with eight tracks total and will include recently released track “命の使い方” (“Inouchi no Tsukaikata”). The tracks were teased in her latest video on her official YouTube channel. Chiai Fujikawa Announces Second Album

Singer-songwriter Chiai Fujikawa announced she will be releasing her second album April 8. Chiai debuted in November of 2018 at Acoustic Live and she dropped her first album titled Lecia in May of 2019. The new album was announced at Chiai Fujikawa’s one-man live show at Shinjuku BLAZE on January 19. It will come in two editions total, a standard CD-only edition and a limited edition which will come with a bonus DVD. While the new album doesn’t have a title yet, you can already pre-order your copy. Links are posted below along with Chiai’s song “Leica” so you can get a small taste of what to expect.

flumpool Lies in New Single

Rock band flumpool revealed they will be dropping a brand new single titled “Subarashiki Uso” which will be released February 26. “Subarashiki Uso” is being released off flumpool’s next album which is set to drop in spring. “Subarashiki Uso” is being used in the live action adaptation of Shirazui Itai Koto which was previously both a manga series and anime series. Also on the single will be the song “Nevermind” which is being used as the theme for the anime series Ahiru no Sora, a sports anime about basketball. “Subarashiki Uso” is being released in two editions total, a standard CD-only edition and a limited edition which will come with a bonus DVD. The CD will not only feature the two songs that were previously mentioned but also three songs from their live performance at Osaka-jo Hall on December 30, 2019. On the other hand, the DVD will include a documentary on it. Pre-orders are up and will be posted below along with the group’s previous song “Help” which came out in 2019.
