Returning from EXILE

Returning from exile, EXILE and EXILE THE SECOND revealed they will be dropping a brand new single titled “Ai no Tame ni - for love, for a child - / Shunkan Eternal” which will be dropping this coming January 1. This will be the first physical release since their album Star of Wish from July 25, 2018. However, EXILE did drop a digital release, the single “Love of History”, this past January 3 to help to promote their Blu-ray release. “Ai no Tame ni - for love, for a child - / Shunkan Eternal” is being released in two editions total, a standard CD-only edition and a CD + DVD edition. “Ai no Tame ni - for love, for a child -” is being done by EXILE while “Shunkan Eternal” is being done by EXILE THE SECOND. The DVD will feature music videos for both songs. Pre-orders are up and will be posted below along with “Love of History” to give a refresher of EXILE since it has been awhile since they have had a release.

UVERworld announces new album after couple of years

Rock band UVERworld announced they will be dropping a brand new album titled Unser December 4. Unser comes a little over two years since their last album Tycoon which released August 7 of 2017. Unser will feature the singles they released between albums: “Odd Future”, "GOOD and EVIL", "To EDEN", ​​and "Touch off". The new album will be dropping in three editions total including a standard CD-only edition and two limited editions. The limited editions will come with a bonus disc; one edition’s bonus will be a DVD while the other will be a Blu-ray and they both will feature UVERworld’s concert held June 6 in Okinawa. Pre-orders are up and will be posted below along with “Touch off”.

Luna Haruka is bringing glory days to fans with latest music video!

Popular vocalist Luna Haruka dropped the music video for her track “glory days” on her official YouTube channel. Just unleased this past week, “glory days” is the most recent physical release by Haruka since her best-of album LUNA JOULE back in December of last year. The track will be used as the theme song for the upcoming anime movie 冴えない彼女の育てかた Fine (Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend Fine), to be released October 26. Fans of Saekono should be familiar as Haruka also did the opening theme song for the series when it originally aired back in 2015. “glory days” will drop with three editions: a CD-only standard edition, a CD + DVD limited edition, and a CD + DVD special edition. Not much is different across all three variations except for the fact that the content for the DVD limited edition will include the music video and making-of for “glory days” and the special edition will include a preview of Saekono: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend Fine along with a special cover in the style of the anime.

Jurina Matsui announces return back from hiatus!

A month after reporting that she would be taking a hiatus once again, popular 48 member Jurina Matsui announced that she has returned once again. After a total shutdown of all SNS communication to the public, Matsui took to Twitter this past week, stating she has returned from her hiatus. She’ll be in full swing once again as she will be take part in the Nagoya Motorshow in late November. She also apologized to fans, stating that, due her feeling weak during the summer, it would be better to take a small break to rejuvenate herself and that she will do her best to be in that main spotlight once again. We at OTY are thrilled to see her back and can’t wait for more! Check out her latest music video for “Sustainable” below!

Reol hopes to make a Monument with upcoming album!

Vocalist Reol announced that she’ll be dropping a brand new album titled 金字塔 (Kinjitou) January 22. This will be the latest release from Reol since her EP 文明 (Bunmei) back in March and will be her second full album overall. Not much is known about the album except that it will include her latest track “HYPE MODE” which Reol released digitally earlier last week.

Reol also announced that she will be holding a brand new cross-country tour lovingly called Reol Japan Tour 2020. The tour will span seven prefectures and start from February to March (more info at right).
