SKE48 Puts Up The Flag As Matsui Say Goodbye

Mega idol group SKE48 have announced that they will be dropping their twenty-seventh single titled “Koiochi Flag” and is set to be released on February 3rd. This will serve as long time member Jurina Matsui’s graduation single. Matsui announced she would be leaving the group back on February 7th but due to the ongoing crisis, the release of this single had been pushed back. 

“Koiochi Flag” is being released in six editions total, three editions will be CD plus DVD and three editions will be limited editions which will come with a DVD plus a randomly selected photo and an application card. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with their last single “So~Yu~Toko Aru Yo Ne?” in the video below.

SKE48 Announces Jurina Matsui's Graduation Single!

Popular idol group SKE48 announced a brand new single for 2021! The news came during their SKE48 12th Anniversary Fest 2020 ～ and will be the group’s twenty-seventh single overall. This single will serve as member Jurina Matsui’s graduation single, who will leave the group in February. There is no additional information at this time of reporting, but be sure to check out the announcement video below!

Jurina Matsui Announces Graduation!

In a bombshell announcement, Jurina Matsui will graduate from the 48 system in October. The news came from SKE48’s theater performance which took place this past week. Matsui, who originally joined the 48 system back in July of 2008, was one of the founding members of SKE48.

Matsui will be holding two graduation concerts September 26 and 27 at the Nippon Gaishi Hall, with her graduation performance taking place October 5, which will also coincide with her debut. With Matsui’s graduation from the 48 system, all initial twenty-three members of the original first generation of SKE48 will have graduated. Along with Minami Minegishi’s graduation later in the year, all original first generation members from both AKB48 and SKE48 will have graduated. Jurina Matsui announces return back from hiatus!

A month after reporting that she would be taking a hiatus once again, popular 48 member Jurina Matsui announced that she has returned once again. After a total shutdown of all SNS communication to the public, Matsui took to Twitter this past week, stating she has returned from her hiatus. She’ll be in full swing once again as she will be take part in the Nagoya Motorshow in late November. She also apologized to fans, stating that, due her feeling weak during the summer, it would be better to take a small break to rejuvenate herself and that she will do her best to be in that main spotlight once again. Jurina Matsui once again announces hiatus!

Last year Senbatsu winner Jurina Matsui, unfortunately, announced that she will once again be taking a hiatus.

This announcement comes after the short hiatus Matsui took last year after winning the 2018 Senbatsu and ultimately affected the quality of that Senbatsu’s single “Sentimental Train”. Matsui added that she will be resting until she’s in perfect condition and will announce her return time as soon as possible.
