Wagakki Band reveals first EP since moving to Universal Music

Japanese rock band Wagakki Band revealed they will be dropping a brand new EP titled “React” which will be dropped December 4. “React” is the first release the band is putting out since they moved over to Universal Music. The announcement came way via the group’s performance at Tokyo Olympus Hall in Hachioji October 13. “React” will be released in three editions total: a standard CD-only edition, a limited edition that will come with a bonus DVD, and another limited edition that will come with a 64-page book which documents several of the band’s concerts. The edition you pick up will determine the number of tracks on the CD; the standard edition will be the only edition to feature all eight tracks while both limited editions will feature the first four tracks. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with a full track listing. DOBERMAN INFINITY shows they are the one for fans with latest single!

Five-member rap group DOBERMAN INFINITY announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “We are the one / ずっと” (“Zutto”), November 27. This comes as a surprise for most, as the group finished up the last day of their first cross-country tour this past week. This single will be the latest release by the group since their album 5IVE back in June and will be their ninth single overall. For “We are the one”, DOBERMAN INFINITY’s range shall be put to the test as this song is slated to feature more of a street style. “Zutto”, in contrast, is a breakout love song meant for that special someone. Dropping with three tracks total, “We are the one / Zutto” will manifest in two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a CD + DVD limited edition. BILLIE IDLE disbands after nearly five years

Music corner alum BILLIE IDLE announced that after their upcoming tour they will be disbanding. The upcoming tour, titled BILLIE IDLE TOUR LAST ORGY, will be held in December. BILLIE IDLE got started in January of 2015 so the disbandment will come just before the group’s five-year anniversary. The group has released a statement apologizing for the suddenness of the news and there will be an interview with their producer, NICO, after the group’s disbandment in December. We here at Ongaku to You are shocked by this sudden announcement but wish every member of BILLIE IDLE the best in their future endeavors.

maco marets encircles fans with latest album!

Vocalist maco marets not only announced that will he drop his next album Circles December 4 but he also dropped the music video for the album’s lead track “D.O.L.O.R.” on his official YouTube channel. Circles will be the latest album from marets since KINO back in November last year and will be his third overall.

Produced and composed by Riki Azuma of Studio75, “D.O.L.O.R.” puts marets’ smooth vocals front and center with compositions that just can’t be beat. Circles will be released with ten tracks and “D.O.L.O.R” will include his other top hit “Standard”.  The album will drop through a CD-only standard edition.

Lenny code fiction reveals fiery new single

Rock band Lenny code fiction revealed they will be providing the second ending for mega popular shonen anime Fire Force. The new ending will be titled “Nonai” and the release of the single is set for December 11. According to the band the song is about the idea of penetrating the image of one’s ideal self inside one’s own mind. “Nonai” will be released in two editions total, a standard CD-only edition and a limited pressing edition which will come with a bonus DVD. The limited pressing will also feature artwork from the anime and will only be manufactured until the end of February 2020. Pre-order links are up and will be posted below along with a teaser for “Nonai”.
