Music Corner Week 27: Color Creation

Color Creation is a five-member vocal group that got started back in 2017. The group consists of Kaz, Junpei, Takuya, Yuuto, and Rioske. The goal of the group is to be the next generation of vocal groups with the simple premise of good songs, good vocals, and good character. The name of the group is to inspire thoughts such as beautiful, powerful, and persuasive vocals. Color Creation lives up to its mantra in spades, always delivering an experience with each song that grabs a hold of the listener. Their music captures the beauty, power, and vocals that the group aspires to possess. Take, for example, their upcoming single “The Call” which is set to come out next month. Warner Japan just dropped the music video for it and it is absolutely stunning. The vocal work on display here is incredible with its amazing harmonization and it is sung in such an exquisite manner by each member of the group. Each vocalist is able to hold their own and come together with the group to create something that is truly amazing.

Color Creation released their very first album this year back in May and it climbed all the way to number two on the Oricon weekly charts. “The Call” will be their fourth major single. “Canvas” was their major debut single, followed by second and third released singles “I’m here/Blue Star” and “Let it Snow”, respectively. GANG PARADE shows their Rapyu skill with latest music video!

Popular alt idol group GANG PARADE released the music video for their track “らびゅ” (“Rapyu”) on their official YouTube channel. “Rapyu” is the lead track for the group’s upcoming first major label album LOVE PARADE dropping November 13. Directed by Ryo Ichikawa of Koe inc, “Rapyu” shows off warped visuals of the members to prove to the masses just how different GANG PARADE is compared to traditional idol groups. Like several other songs on LOVE PARADE, “Rapyu” is composed by Kenta Matsukuma. LOVE PARADE will drop with two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a two-CD + Blu-ray + photo book limited edition. As previously reported, the second disc will feature excerpts from the concert held at Osaka-Jo Hall earlier in the year.

BESPA KUMAMERO releases new digital single

BESPA KUMANERO is a Japanese electronic performance unit which dropped a brand new digital single titled “NINJA-Hanakage-”. “NINJA-Hanakage-” is currently available on streaming platforms all over the world including YouTube—a link will be posted below. BESPA KUMANERO was formed back in 2001 and released their first album Romantic Waves in 2008 and proceeded to make an appearance at Anime Matsuri in Houston. The unit was also voted Best Japanese Electronic Group in Shojo Beat magazine in 2009.

Kanjani8 inspires fans with their friendship through new single!

Popular Johnny’s group Kanjani8 announced that they will releasing a brand new single, “友よ”(“Tomoyo”), November 27. This will be the latest single from the group since “crystal” back in March and the latest since Ryo Nishikido’s departure in September. Not much is known about the single except that it will be released with three editions: a CD-only standard edition, a CD + DVD limited edition, and a CD + T-shirt special edition. Both the limited edition and special edition will drop with two tracks and the limited edition will also include the music clip and making-of for “Tomoyo”. The special edition will include a T-shirt of the group’s latest cross country tour BOY. Not to be out done by the other editions, the standard edition will boast an additional track along with the instrumental versions for all three tracks. Aina Suzuki announces debut album

Voice actress and singer Aina Suzuki revealed she will be dropping her debut album January 22 of next year. It will be titled ring A ring. Suzuki is probably best known for being the voice of Mari Ohara in popular idol anime Love! Live! Sunshine!!. ring A ring will be Aina Suzuki’s first music release that will not be affiliated with Aqours, the idol group featured in Love! Live! Sunshine!!. The album is being released in three editions total: a standard edition which will be CD-only, a limited edition which will come with a Blu-ray, and a super limited edition which will come not only with a bonus Blu-ray but also a photo book with some extra goodies as well. While the full track listing has yet to be revealed there will be a total of ten tracks on the CD. Pre-order links are up and will be posted below.
