Caravan shows fans the universe in his mind with new album!

Singer-songwriter Caravan announced that he will dropping a brand new album, The Universe in my Mind ,August 1. The Universe in my Mind will be the latest album release by Caravan since The Harvest Time back in November of 2017. Just as unique as Caravan, the album will be released domestically, to be found in small chain stores such as obscure hobby store Village Vanguard.

Included on the album will be recently released tracks “The Passenger” and “I’m a Believer” along with a cover of popular vocalist Misato Watanabe’s song “Hello Again”, which will round the album out to featuring an eleven-track total. Caravan commented that, this time around, he composed the album to feature a more imaginative feel so that anyone could pick up and enjoy it.

Along with the release of The Universe in my Mind, Caravan announced that he will be holding an event simply titled HARVEST 12th Anniversary Caravan "The Universe in my Mind" Special Live in Tokyo’s Shibuya duo MUSIC EXCHANGE live house September 28.

Unfortunately, due to the unique nature of the release, there are no pre-order links available as of now. However, check out the music video for “革命前夜” (“Kakumei Zenya”)—a track to be featured on the album—below!

Sakanaction keeps it groovy with new mini-CD!

After the successful release of their latest album 834.194, five-member rock band Sakanaction announced that they will dropping an 8-centimeter mini-CD single August 21. The single will include the two 80s style tracks “忘れられないの” (“Wasurerarenaino”) and “モス” (“Mosu”) along with their instrumental versions. Unfortunately, only 10,000 copies will be made, making this a highly sought item for fans.

Sakanaction also dropped the music video for “Mosu” on their official YouTube and, like “Wasurerarenaino”, the track keeps its 80s influences with high and peaking tempos which would be paired with action movies of the era. Currently, “Mosu” serves as the theme song for zany hero drama Lupin no Musume.

Check out the music video for “Mosu”below!
