Four-member rock band a flood of circle announced that they will releasing a brand new mini-album titled HEART November 6. The mini-album will the latest release by the band since their single “The Key” back in April and will be used to commemorate their tenth year of their major debut. For this astounding achievement each member will compose and write a song on HEART, with all four members collaborating on the last song. There will be a total of five tracks.

a flood of circle also announced that they will be holding a tenth anniversary live in the famed Shinjuku LOFT live house in Tokyo September 5. For those able to attend, the band will preview tracks from HEART as a special sneak peek for hardcore fans.

NMB48 announces twenty-first single

Mega female idol group NMB48 revealed they will be releasing their twenty-first single, its title yet to be revealed, scheduled for release August 14. This single is special because Miru Shiroma will be serving as the center for the single and this is her very first time as such. Fellow members Yuki Azuma and Ota Riona will be sharing a little of that same spotlight with her.

The new single will be released in three editions, each including a CD, DVD, and a random photo of a group member. Each edition, however, will boast its own unique cover featuring different members of the group. You can pre-order your copy here.

Gang Parade challenges the limit of their love

Punk female idol group Gang Parade revealed that they will be releasing not only their very first studio album but also a live recording of a concert from their CHALLENGE the LIMIT TOUR. However, the even bigger news is that both of these releases are hitting just a week apart. Gang Parade’s first studio album will be titled Love Parade, set for release September 13. The week before that on September 6, CHALLENGE the LIMIT TOUR at Hibiya Yagai Dai Ongakudo will be released.

Love Parade is being released in two editions. The standard edition will be CD-only while the limited edition will include two CDs, a Blu-ray, a hundred-page photobook, and it will also feature special packaging. CHALLENGE the LIMIT TOUR at Hibiya Yagai Dai Ongakudo will be released in two editions as well: the first edition, the DVD edition, will include only the DVD while the Blu-ray edition will feature two discs, the second of which featuring excerpts from the concert held at Osaka-Jo Hall, and a deluxe booklet . Sayumi Michishige leaves memorial for fan with new album!

Former leader of popular idol group Morning Musume Sayumi Michishige announced a brand new album, SAYUMINGLANDOLL～Memorial～, scheduled to drop July 24. Its announcement coming as a surprise to fans during the artist’s thirtieth birthday, the album will be a Best Of selection album. It will serve as a continuation of Michishige’s SAYUMINGLANDOLL series, dropping with two editions: a CD-only standard edition along with a CD + DVD limited editon. The DVD will include music videos for several tracks on the album along with clips from Michishige’s SAYUMINGLANDOLL tour from the past year. Dropping with seventeen tracks total, the album will include songwriter Saiko Omori’s written track “OK！生きまくっちゃえ” (“Ikimakucchae”)  and “白い羽根” (“Shiroi Hane”).

AZKi says goodbye to her heroes in latest music video!

After her collaborations with other VTuber on Usagi Produciton’s VirtualREAL.00 album, popular virtual YouTuber AZKi was back at it again with a brand new song titled “さよならヒーロー” (“Sayonara Hero”) this past week. Not only was “Sayonara Hero” readily available, but a new music video dropped on her official YouTube to accompany its release.

As with several other releases from her this past year, “Sayonara Hero” was written and produced by music creative team SCRAMBLES, the group behind several tracks by popular idol groups such as BiSH, BiS, and Gang Parade. Satoshi Toyosumi of SCRAMBLES took writing duties for the track and recently produced several tracks off of both GANG PARADE’s and BiSH’s latest mini-albums.

Per the norm of SCRAMBLES’ produced tracks, “Sayonara Hero” has a fusion style pop melody via a fast tempo guitar riff mixed with a powerful and moving piano melody to deliver something nostalgic yet fresh at the same time.
