AZKi teams up with fellow VTuber Minato Aqua in her latest music video!

Popular virtual YouTuber AZKi dropped the music videos for double releasing tracks “Fake.Fake.Fake.” and “Inochi” on her official YouTube channel.  

“Fake.Fake.Fake.” and “Inochi” which both dropped today is AZKi’s seventh and eighth songs released by the VTuber and, as previously reported, are written and composed by Keita Tanaka of the music production group SCRAMBLES and popular vocaloid/idol composer Wataru Sena, respectively. 

“Fake.Fake.Fake” will star fellow virtual YouTuber Minato Aqua who will team up with AZKi by being the “center” and rocking out to the melody of the song. For those unaware, Aqua is a virtual marine maid who debuted in 2018 and belongs to the Hololive production team.

AZKi also announced that she will have a live broadcast titled 耐久AZKi (Taikyu AZKi) which will take place May 1 19:00 JST on her official YouTube channel. The live broadcast will have AZKi singing all eight of her songs.

Finally, as previous announced, AZKi will be holding her first live performance interestingly titled “AZKi 1st LiveThe Shitest Start ” May 19 in the bustling Akihabara Entas building. Demon Slayer LiSA drops new single

Popular vocalist LiSA announced she will be dropping a new single on July 3 titled “紅蓮華” ( “Gurenge”) . The announcement came out of her “LiVE is Smile Always～364＋JOKER～” one-woman live concert this past weekend. In typical fashion “Gurenge” is being used as the opening theme for the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The series is a fantasy anime set in feudal Japan wherein a young boy’s family is attacked by oni and only he and his sister survive.

“Gurenge” will be released with four tracks in a whopping three editions. The Standard Edition will be CD-only while the Limited Edition will include not only a CD but also a DVD. The last edition will be the Limited Pressing Edition which will not only include an additional TV-size track of “Gurenge” but will also include both a CD and DVD—but the DVD in this edition will feature a credit-less opening of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

BAND-MAID heads to Europe for next world tour!

After a successful release of their fourth single “glory”, five-member rock idol group BAND-MAID announced that they will be commencing a European world tour, “Gekidou”, which will run from June 22- 26.

Partnering with world class promoter Live Nation, BAND MAID hopes to make their mark in the European market and will visit four cities in three countries. All of the members are excited for this collaboration, hoping to get more out of this tour and to have a more international presence in the music industry.

Japanese R&B/pop vocalist and rising star RIRI is ready to for summer with the announcement of her newest EP Summertime EP, which will be released May 22! Summertime EP will be RIRI’s third mini album overall but first under a major label. There will be five tracks included on this EP; three will be original songs while one will be a remix of her popular song “RUSH”, and one will be a cover of the popular Western song by Nelly & Kelly Rowland, “Dilemma”. Kaede shows us another side of her with announcement of mini-album!

After the success of her solo single “Cloud Nine”, member of popular idol group Negicco Kaede announced that she will be releasing a brand new mini-album lengthily titled 深夜。あなたは今日を振り返り、また新しい朝だね。 (Shinya. Anata ha Kyou wo Furikaeri, mata Atarashi Asadane) June 18. 

The announcement came from Kaede’s one-women live which took place this past weekend. Kaede will have several support members to help with the mini-album such as Yusuke Sato and Yukari Yamasaki of caméra-stylo and Kuukikoudan fame. The mini-album will be released with six tracks and include recently released “Cloud Nine”.
