HYDE breaks the establishment yet again with「anti」

Visual-kei legend HYDE announced the release of his new album anti, scheduled for release June 19. Famously known as lead singer for the group L’ Arc-en-Ciel and VAMPS, HYDE is embarking on this latest foray into a solo act which he announced back in June of last year.

anti will feature thirteen tracks and will have an expansive five different editions: a CD-only standard edition and three limited editions simply titled Type A, B, and C. Type A will not only include anti but a Blu-ray copy of his BEAUTY AND THE BEAST live concert in the famed Zepp Tokyo. Type B will include a two-DVD set which will boast several music videos and lyric videos for al tracks on the album. Type C will include a vinyl-sized conceptual booklet. Not to be outdone, Universal Music Store will also have a special edition which will include all of the limited editions’ goods along with a poster.

NICO Touches the Walls touches on new album and tour dates!

NICO Touches the Walls, a four-member Japanese rock band formed in 2004 who went major with Sony Music in 2007, tweeted via their official page that they will be releasing QUIZMASTER June 5! QUIZMASTER will drop with three editions: a standard CD-only edition and two limited editions, Type A and Type B. Both limited editions will include an additional CD which will feature several acoustic versions of songs done by the band, with Type B also including a Blu-ray of behind-the-scenes footage of the acoustic recording. This will be the latest release by the band since their album 勇気も愛もないなんて (Yuki mo Ai mo Nainante) back in March 2016. 

To get the hype going for their new album the band also announced during their current tour NICO Touches the Walls TOUR "MACHIGAISAGASHI that they will be quizzing the audience and giving away special prizes.

=LOVE shines with newest single!

Seiyuu mega idol group formed by YoAni and produced by Rino Sashihara show us how to shine with their newest single “SAGASE DIAMOND LILY”, which is set to shimmer out into stores April 24! This new single will mark =LOVE’s fifth single and all songs are written by HKT48’s Ayano Shihohara! There will be three sparkling editions of “SAGASE DIAMOND LILY”, each one finding their way into your cart with special features. Type A will contain the coupling song “「いらない ツインテール」” (“Iranai Twin Tail”) along with a DVD that includes the video and making-of for the title track. Type B will have a different coupling song—“「虹の素」” (“Niji no Iro”)—with a DVD containing “「イコラブ社員旅行2019 ～三浦半島・鎌倉篇～」” (“=LOVE Shain Ryokou 2019 ~Miurahantou Kamakura-hen~”), which is over 80 minutes long! Type C will contain both coupling songs that are included on Type A and B. Each edition will have different cover art as well.

Popular male idol group Hey! Say! JUMP announced that they are not only releasing one new single, but they are in fact releasing two new singles—with only one week apart between them. “Lucky-Unlucky/Oh! My Darling” is the first single that Hey! Say! JUMP is releasing May 22. “Lucky-Unlucky” is also the opening theme song for the TV drama Atama ni Kitemo Aho to wa Tatakauna! (Don’t Fight With Fools Even When You Get Pissed Off). Additionally, Hey! Say! JUMP member Yamada Ryosuke is doing a commercial for Kose Lachesca and “Oh! My Darling” is being used for it. “Oh! My Darling” is a solo song performed by Yamada Ryosuke.

One week after the release of the first single May 29, Hey! Say! JUMP will be dropping their very first DVD single “Ai dake ga subete -What do you want?-“. It is being used as the main theme for the third season of TV Asahi drama Kaisefu no Mitazono.

“Lucky-Unlucky/Oh! My Darling” is being released in three whopping editions including the JUMPremium box edition, a second limited edition, and a standard edition. “Ai dake ga subete -What do you want?-“ is also being released in three astounding editions: the JUMPremium Box Edition, the Mitazono edition, and a standard edition. EMPiRE marches on with announcement of second single!

After a very successful showing from their first single “Pierce”, idol group EMPiRE announced their second single scheduled for July. The announcement came from the group’s 24-hour livestream event EMPiRE presents TWENTY FOUR HOUR PARTY PEOPLE and was quickly uploaded on the group’s official YouTube channel.

However, this isn’t the only piece of news that was announced during the stream; YUKA will be withdrawing from the group and EMPiRE will be continuing as a five-member group.

Additionally, it was said in a statement from the group that this upcoming will be the first step of their new system which is heavily teased in the trailer, stating that it is a brand-new EMPiRE.

We will update when we have more information about the single, but if it’s anything like former EMPiRE releases it will be released in analog only, which we are eager to hear more about. In the meantime check out the teaser below!
