Exile’s Next “Exile Friday” Song Announce With A Collaboration With TBS Soccer!

Popular music group Exile announced today their next song for Exile Friday, “Awakening”. It will be used for this year’s TBS Soccer theme song. "Awakening"will convey the “don’t give up and keep pushing on” sort of message, making it the perfect match to cheer on the players. Once again, the music video will be produced by Atsushi.

“Lemon” Breaks Another Record!

Kenshi Yonezu’s latest single “Lemon” was reported to have surpassed the one million digital download mark. This is a historical feat as it is now reported that “Lemon” has become the fastest selling digital song to make one million downloads.

Yonezu’s record label has placed a huge billboard in Shibuya to announce the news, as seen below.

Kirin Announces Their New Collaboration Artist For Kirin Lemon!

Beverage company Kirin announced today their next collaboration for their drink Kirin Lemon. It will be with singer Inori Minase, featuring her song “まっすぐに、トウメイに" ("Massugu ni Toumei ni”). Inori Minase will be the third artist that they have had a collaboration with for Kirin Lemon (the first being BiSH and second being Fredric). Similarly, Minase will integrate the Kirin Lemon song into “まっすぐに、トウメイに" .

DAIGO Announces New Solo Single!

Vocalist for the band BREAKERZ, DAIGO, announced today his new single 真夏の残響 / 今夜、ノスタルジアで(Manatsu no Zankyou/ Konya Nostalgia de). Being released on July 11th, this will be his 5th solo single and will be used as his 15 year anniversary since his debut. TAKURO and HISASHI of the band GLAY personally helped with the single by offering their talents as composer and guitarist respectively.

BIM Announces Solo Album!

BIM from the rap group THE OTOGIBANASHIS announced today that he will be dropping a solo album called The Beam. Its release scheduled for July 4th, this album will feature the song "Bonita", which was released back in December of last year. BIM will also be collaborating with various artists on the album such as PUN PEE, OMSB, and VaVa.
