saji Brings the Fireworks with Upcoming Mini-Album!

Three-member rock band saji announced that they will be releasing a brand new mini-album 花火の詩 (Hanabi no Uta) on September 23rd. This will be the latest mini-album release done by the band since Hello April back in April, and like previous releases, kept the theme of having tracks like a collection of short stories. The release will drop with only six tracks and will be available in a CD-only release.

Perfume Warp Time With First Single In Two Years

Three-member pop idol group Perfume announced a brand-new single titled “Time Warp” and is set to be released on September 16th. This is the first single that the group has released in over two years. This is also the second work of their Perfume 15th & 20th anniversary with you all which is celebrating fifteen years since their major debut and twenty years since they came together as a group. 

“Time Warp” is being released in two editions total; a limited edition that will come with a CD plus DVD, and another limited edition that will come with a cassette tape. The DVD will feature the music video for “Time Warp” and the cassette tape will be a bonus for those who purchase this edition. Ayaka Segawa and Rihwa Shows Off the Best with Latest Release!

To celebrate the release of the latest duet track of Ayaka Segawa and Rihwa, the duo released the music video for the track “最高だよ！(“Saiko dayo!”) Yeah!!” on STV Radio’s YouTube channel. This is the latest release done by Segawa since her digital single “アイシテル～心を込めて” (“Aishiteru~ Kokoro wo Komete”) back in June and is her third release in 2020 overall. Segawa and Rihwa recorded the track on GarageBand and filmed the entirety of the music video on an iPhone. The music video shows the girls enjoying life and trying to show normalcies during this ongoing crisis. Check out the music video for “Saiko day!” below!

Kumi Koda Reveals who is her Lucky Star with Upcoming Release!

Japanese music icon Kumi Koda announced that she will be releasing a brand new track titled “Lucky Star” on August 28th across all digital music streaming platforms. This is part 2 of her 20th anniversary extravaganza, the first being “puff” that was released last year. "Lucky Star" is looking to be a high energy positive track that goes through various emotions and thoughts in saturated colors and a summer-like sound that makes you want to swing your towel around. Koda had also announced that she will be performing the new release at a-nation online 2020 the following day.

ONE OK ROCK Announces Field of Wonder Livestream Concert from a Stadium to the World!

The bar for livestream concerts has officially been raised by the powerhouse four-member rock band ONE OK ROCK, which they announced they will be holding a Field of Wonder virtual concert. This online concert experience will be one of a kind in that the band will be performing with full stadium production at ZOZO Marine Stadium in Chiba, Japan, without an in-person audience.

The concert will be produced and hosted by ONE OK ROCK’s own proprietary livestream platform and will broadcast live globally on October 11, 2020, at 6:00 PM Japan time (5:00 AM USA ET). Following the original broadcast, fans will be able to stream Field of Wonder again for a limited period of time online.

The Rock Sound Award 2018 winners for "Best Live Performance", ONE OK ROCK will play a mix of songs across their iconic repertoire of albums 35xxxv, AMBITIONS, Eye of the Storm and more.
