milet Proves Herself Once Again With New Mini-album!

Japanese pop vocalist and up-and-coming artist milet is proving herself once again with her latest mini-album Prover/Tell Me, which drops February 19! Prover/Tell Me is milet’s fifth release and EP overall and follows up her latest EP Drown/You&I which came out this past November. “Prover” is the outro theme to the second season of the popular anime Fate/Grand Order -Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia-. Prover/Tell Me comes to us in three magnificent editions: a CD + DVD Limited Edition, a CD + DVD Limited Pressing Edition, and a Regular Edition. The CD + DVD Limited Edition includes the music video for “Prover” while the CD + DVD Limited Pressing Edition includes the non-credit ending to Fate/Grand Order plus limited anime cover artwork which is only available until the end of April 2020. BILLIE IDLE member starts new group

Pour Lui revealed she will be starting up a brand new idol group under the tentative name of Idol Laboratories. Lui has been in the idol industry now for ten years, getting her start in BiS and eventually working with Music Corner alumnus BILLIE IDLE who disbanded this past December. Auditions will start February 2 at the WACK office in Shibuya, Tokyo and they will be conducted in an interview style. Lui is looking for women from 18 to 29 years old and no experience is required. She is being backed by Junnosuke Watanabe, who handles BiS, BiSH, and several others under WACK. Lui stated in an interview, “I have been an idol for 10 years but it is my first time as a producer, so I hope to create a group with the members, the fans who support me, and the production team.” 

Chihiro Onitsuka Will Stay Silent No More With All-time Greatest Hits Album!

Japanese pop vocalist and songwriter Chihiro Onitsuka announced an all-time greatest hits album to commemorate her 20th Anniversary in the music industry titled Requiem And Silence, set for release February 20! Requiem And Silence is Chihiro’s sixth best album and fourteenth album overall. It will contain title tracks for all of her 29 single releases and also include one unreleased physical track along with a new song as well! Some of the tracks set to be included are “Gekkou”, “Memai”, “Ryuseigun”, “infection”, “Watashi to Waltz wo”, “End of the World” (which is being released for the first time physically), and the new track “Kakikake no Tegami”, among many more!

Requiem And Silence will have three gorgeous editions including a Premium Collector’s Edition, a Limited Edition, and a Regular Edition. The Premium Collector’s Edition includes four CDs with the first two discs featuring the 29 single tracks while Disc 3 contains tracks selected by Chihiro herself. Disc 4 includes instrumentals of her most famous tunes all in a premium LP-sized deluxe box with a 60-page photo book. The Limited Edition includes two CDs featuring all 29 single track releases over her career while the Regular Edition only includes one CD with 14 tracks. iri Transitions into a New Age With Latest Music Video!

Music Corner alum iri released the music video for her upcoming song “24-25” on her official YouTube channel. Set for release January 22, “24-25” will be the latest release by iri since “Shade” back in March of last year and is meant to represent a transition point in her career as she is turning 25 this year. 

Per the norm of iri videos, “24-25” gives a small yet powerful impression, enticing listeners more and more to the track, which is currently available on digital streaming platforms. “24-25” will be released with only three tracks and will drop with three editions includi ng a CD-only standard edition, a CD + T-shirt limited edition, and a vinyl edition. Brain The Sun announces new mini-album

Four-piece rock band Brain the Sun revealed they will be dropping their brand new mini-album orbit February 26. This will be the band’s first release since March of last year when they released their MEME album. The new mini-album will include a total of five songs including their new song “Paradigm Shift” which is being used as the ending theme for the shonen anime Shin Chuuka Ichiban!. orbit is being released in two editions, a standard CD-only edition and a limited edition which comes with a bonus DVD containing the music video for “Paradigm Shift”. Pre-orders are currently up and will be posted along with “Paradigm Shift”’s video so you can get a nice preview of the new mini-album.
