lol shows off different side with latest music video!

Ahead of their latest single, five-member co-ed pop idol group lol dropped the second music video for their upcoming double A-side single. The new single will be released March 20 and is titled “Sayonara No Kisetsu”. The music video for “Sayonara No Kisetsu” was released February 16. On March 11, avex decided to go ahead and release the second music video, this time for “lolli-lolli”.

“lolli-lolli” is a much more rap heavy song than what lol is typically know for. Frontman Yusuke and main rapper for lol Honaka take center stage in this new music video taking place during an epic house party. Yusuke has only rapped in a couple of songs throughout his career with lol but in “lolli-lolli” he really shines here.

There is a standard CD-only edition and a second edition which comes with both a CD and a DVD. JUJU has new single drop

If you are unfamiliar with JUJU, she is a Japanese jazz, R&B, and J-pop artist. Back on March 6 she released a new single titled “Mirai”. “Mirai” was released with two editions, a standard edition and a limited edition including a DVD. Currently the music video isn’t available outside of Japan but you can check out “Mirai” below from JUJU’s official YouTube channel. The track listings for both the standard and limited edition are posted below.

Keyakizaka46 member bids group adieu

Neru Nagahama announced that she is graduating from mega idol group Keyakizaka46. This announcement came March 7 via Nagahama’s personal blog. The reason for her departure is currently unknown, as are her plans for the future upon leaving the group.

A first generation member of Keyakizaka46, Nagahama was also the first member of sister group Hiragana Keyakizaka46, which was recently renamed to Hinatazaka46. Nagahama has been regarded as a fairly popular member of the group.

While Nagahama was absent from recent performances on “Music Station” and “Utacon”, she will participate in her last single, “Kuroi Hitsuji”.

Momoiro Cover Z dazzlingly previews upcoming album!

Popular four-member, vibrantly colored idol group Momoiro Clover Z dropped the teaser trailer for their upcoming new album, simply titled MOMOIRO CLOVER Z, on their official YouTube channel. Originally announced last year, MOMOIRO CLOVER Z is set for release May 17 and will be used to kick off the group’s eleventh year anniversary. This will also be the latest full album since the release of 白金の夜明け (Hakkin no Yoake) back in 2016 and will be the group’s fifth album overall. 

MOMOIRO CLOVER Z will drop with latest songs “Re:Story”, ”あんた飛ばし過ぎ!” (“Anta Tobashi Tsugi”), ”天国のでたらめ” (“Tengoku no Detarame”), ”GODSPEED”, and ”Sweet Wanderer”. Besides these they haven’t announced a full track list as of this writing.

The album will also release with three different editions: a standard CD-only edition and two limited editions simply titled Type A and Type B. Type A will include a Blu-ray copy of a previously preformed live while Type B will include a bonus CD.

Sakanaction cryptically titled their newest album in six years!

Five-member electronic fusion rock band Sakanaction announced they will be releasing a brand new album, mysteriously titled 834.194, scheduled for release April 24. The announcement of the album comes from Sakanaction’s segment during TOKYO FM’s SCHOOL OF LOCK! radio show. 834.194 will be the group’s latest original album since sakanaction (2013) and their seventh original album overall. Lead vocalist Ichiro Yamaguchi has been dodging questions about the true meaning of the title of the album, stating that “the numbers have a special meaning behind them and the fans that truly understand the meaning behind them will understand the theme we are going to convey in this album.”

834.194 will include recently released songs such as “多分、風。”(“Tabun, Kaze”) and ”新宝島” (“Shin Takara Shima”) and is set to drop with three different editions: a CD-only standard edition and two limited editions simply titled Type A and Type B which will include a Blu-ray and DVD respectively. Included on both Blu-ray and DVD will be Sakanaction’s ten year anniversary concert in Tokyo’s Shin Kiba Studio Coast live house, with the Blu-ray including several music videos that will be on the album itself.

Sakanaction also announced a new live tour lovingly called SAKANAQUARIUM 2019 “834.194” 6.1ch Sound Around Arena Session, starting April 6 and continuing through Mid-June.  Yamaguchi commented, “By listening to this album or coming to the concerts, the fans will have an experience that they will never forget.
