BanG Dream’sGlitter*Green Announces First Single

BanG Dream! announced during their Natsu no Dai Happyo Kai program that Poppin’ Party will be having a new single, its eleventh overall, its release set for October 3. Following this news was the reveal of BanG Dream!’s sixth official live, which will be performed on December 8 in the famed Ryogoku Sumo Hall.

Lastly, Glitter*Green, one of the project’s bands, announced their first single “Don’t be afraid!”, set for release on November 21. Glitter*Green features voice actress Mimori Suzuko, Kitta Izumi, Sasaki Mikoi, Tokui Sora from Bushiroad’s Milky Holmes series.

Hikaru Utada Breaks Records With Her New Album!

Singer-songwriter Hikaru Utada's seventh original album, Hatsu Koi, has once again topped the Oricon charts with an amazing 204,000 copies. With Hatsu Koi becoming first, this will mark her ninth album (including her Best Of albums) to have reached such an achievement. This amounts her total copies sold to 7,762,000 across all of her albums.

With Hatsu Koi, this will also mark her seventh consecutive original album to become first on the Oricon charts for female solo artists; she beats longtime rival BoA, who was at six. Hikaru is also two albums away from all-time best, Ayumi Hamasaki, who currently sits at nine albums straight.

Nogizaka46 Announces New Single!

Idol group Nogizaka46 announced today a brand new single but no title has been determined as of yet. This will be their twenty-first single and it will be released on August 8. Asuka Saito is set to be the center of this single and this will her second time being so since 2016’s “裸足でSummer” (“Hayashi de Summer”)

Yukari Tamura Shows A Preview Of Her Next Song

Voice actress Yukari Tamura dropped a short preview on YouTube of her latest single “永遠のひとつ”(“Eien no Hitotsu”), which will be released on August 18. “Eien no Hitotsu” is set to be the opening theme of the anime ISLAND, airing July 1st which Tamura is the lead in.

Tamura is more famously known for her roles in Steins;Gate 0     and Naruto series. You can check out the preview for “Eien no Hitotsu” below!
