Vocalist for the band BREAKERZ, DAIGO, announced today his new single 真夏の残響 / 今夜、ノスタルジアで(Manatsu no Zankyou/ Konya Nostalgia de). Being released on July 11th, this will be his 5th solo single and will be used as his 15 year anniversary since his debut. TAKURO and HISASHI of the band GLAY personally helped with the single by offering their talents as composer and guitarist respectively.

BIM from the rap group THE OTOGIBANASHIS announced today that he will be dropping a solo album called The Beam. Its release scheduled for July 4th, this album will feature the song "Bonita", which was released back in December of last year. BIM will also be collaborating with various artists on the album such as PUN PEE, OMSB, and VaVa.

As previously reported, Aqua Timez announced that they will be disbanding after 2018. Today they announced that their last live will take place in Yokohama Arena on November 18th. It will be called Aqua Timez FINAL LIVE “last dance”. Tickets will be available via the Aqua Timez official website on May 17th at 12:00 PM Japan time.
LEGO BIG MORL made a surprise announcement last night teasing the release of a brand new single, "命短し挑めよ己 (Inochi Mijikaishi Nozomeyo Onore)”, which will be released today, May 16th Japan time. A LEGO BIG MORL live will also take place on May 20th.

Three-member band RADWIMPS announced today that their brand new single "カタルシスト"("Catharsis") will be used as the theme for this year's FIFA World Cup on Japanese broadcasting. It is being released on June 6th. This isn’t the first time that RADWIMPS' song is being used for a sports broadcast; the first time featured "君と羊と青" ("Kimi to Hitsuji to Ao"), which was used in 2011 for an NHK Soccer theme song.
