Thelma Aoyama Annouces New Album!

R&B singer Thelma Aoyama announced today her new album HIGHSCHOOL GAL. Thelma, who dons a Gyaru image herself in her promotion videos, wants to implement a “Para Para Sound” in this new album. Releasing on July 25th we are excited to hear what “Para Para Sound” sounds like!

Also announced was a live tour for the album simply named AOYAMA THELMA LIVE TOUR 2018: "HIGHSCHOOL GAL". It will be short and sweet with only five tour dates.

Utada Hikaru Celebrates 20th Anniversary With New Album and Tour!

Artist Hikaru Utada has announced the title of her new album: Hatsukoi. Releasing on June 27th Hatsukoi is Utada's 7th studio album and will feature songs that focus on telling the story of feelings. The album is currently planned to having twelve tracks and include her songs "Ohzora de Dakishimete", "Forevermore", "Anata", "Chikai", "Hatsukoi", and "Play a Love Song". The first shipment of physical copies will include lottery tickets to pre-order tickets for her tour that runs from November 6th through December 9th; this marks 20 years--to the day--since she released her "Automatic/Time Will Tell" single.

MAN WITH A MISSION Announces New Album And Tour!

Five-member, wolfhead-wearing band MAN WITH A MISSION announced today their 5th album Chasing the Horizon. Releasing on June 6th, Chasing the Horizon will include songs such as “Winding Roads”, “Dog Days”, and “Take Me Under”.

Also announced was their new tour for Chasing the Horizon  starting in September and ending in November. The last concert is very interesting, as it will be held at the famous Hanshin Koshien Stadium, the setting of the biggest high school baseball tournament in Japan.

Ayaka Ohashi Collaborates With Several Artists For Her Second Album!

Former IDOLM@STER voice actress turned singer Ayaka Ohashi released a preview of her song "シンガロン進化論" ("Shingaron Shinkaron") for her latest album PROGRESS. Releasing on May 23rd, PROGRESS also includes songs that were used for opening and ending themes for anime that Ayaka has starred in. Several of the songs have guest collaborators such as Tomoya Tabuchi (bass guitarist for UNISON SQUARE GARDEN) and Junichi Sato (lead vocals for FLEET).

Jump Festa Adds New Artist And Artist Line Up Dates!

The popular comic company Shonen Jump announced not too long ago that they will be having a music festival based on all of their series called JUMP MUSIC FESTA, We spoke of this news previously for their initial artist lineup, but now they have announced that SPYAIR will be joining as well. Also announced were the lineup dates for the artists. Currently, KANA BOON and BiSH are performing on July 7th and SPYAIR and Little Glee Monster performing on the 8th.
