WANDS' New Single Breaks Silence

Rock band WANDS announced they will be dropping their seventeenth single titled “Dakiyose Takamaru Kimi no Taion to Tomoni”, which is set to drop May 20. This is the second single since the band reunited last year. WANDS was formed in 1991 and disbanded in 1999. Last year, after 20 years out of the industry, the band decided to get back together. “Dakiyose Takamaru Kimi no Taion to Tomoni” is being used for the second season of the crime drama Silent Voice.

“Dakiyose Takamaru Kimi no Taion to Tomoni” is being released in two editions, a standard edition which will be CD-only and a limited edition which will come with a bonus DVD. The DVD will feature a "Special Live Event Digest" which will run seven minutes long. Also on the CD, the B-side track will be unique for each edition with the standard edition CD getting “Ai wo Kataru Yori Kuchizuke wo Kawasou - WANDS Dai 5 Ki ver. -” and the limited edition getting “Just a Lonely Boy - WANDS Dai 5 Ki ver. -”. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with the group’s last single “Makkana Lip” which was their first single following their reunion.
