‘i☆Ris Coupling Best’ is a new compilation of the freshly remastered B-sides from all 24 singles by Japanese voice actor idol group i☆Ris! Through these remasters, new discoveries from the original recordings can be found across all digital music streaming platforms. Also, group leader Saki Yamakita has written brand-new lyrics for a newly recorded five-person version of ‘Sensu•of•Wonder☆Zoku’, which was performed during i☆Ris 8th Live Tour 2023 ~Wasshoi!!!!!~. The album also includes ‘DIVE TO LIVE’, the killer tune that is guaranteed to make any concert erupt.

In addition to the release of ‘i☆Ris Coupling Best’, the group have finally opened their long-awaited official TikTok account. In addition to past short videos from the group’s official YouTube channel, their TikTok account will also include concert clips that showcase their awesome skills as voice actor idols, and vertical videos that are exclusive to TikTok.

I☆Ris Overflows Their Love with Latest Music Video!

Popular voice actress and idol unit i☆Ris release their 21st single, “Junigatsu no Snowry” / “Heart Beat Kyujosyo” on December 8. Overflowing with the power of love, lead track “Heart Beat Kyujosyo” also has a music video out now on YouTube!

In the music video, the five members of i☆Ris wear adorable red and white dresses and express their innocent feelings of love as they dance in a fairytale world adorned with giant stuffed animals, heart-shaped balloons and mountains of wrapped presents. 

Near the beginning of the video, the girls dance with the pointer fingers of both hands on their heads as though they are firing laser beams, known as the “love beam dance”, grabbing the viewer’s heart with the most adorable dance imaginable. True to the track’s title, hearts feature prominently in the video, with the members making heart shapes with their hands and on their cheeks. In fact, you can spot eight different types of heart poses in the video, including one that is made up by three members together! During the chorus, in particular, the heart poses are timed to the beat of the song. 

The simple “heartbeat dance” choreography allows you to dance along with just your upper body, making it perfect for TikTok videos. It’s a dance filled with heart that makes you want to join in, and there’s no doubt that i☆Ris will start a “heart whirlwind” this winter!

I☆Ris Brings the Summer Beats With Upcoming Single!

Popular five-member female idol group i☆Ris announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “Summer Dude”, August 18. They are making a brand new start after former member Azuki Shibuya graduated in March of this year. Being their 20th single, this will be the first work under the new five-member lineup. The title song "Summer Dude", which is set to have a refreshing and uplifting summer beat, will be packed with catchy melodies. The single will be released with three tracks along with both its instrumentals and off main vocals for the songs and will drop with three editions: a CD-only standard edition and two limited editions which will include a bonus DVD/Blu-ray. Both limited editions will feature the music videos for “Summer Dude” along with the behind-the-scenes making-of for the track as well.

i☆Ris Invites Fans to Celebrate With Them With Brand New Album!

Six-member idol group i☆Ris announced that they will be dropping a brand new album, Shall we☆Carnival, March 13. This will be the latest release from the group since “FANTASTIC ILLUSION”  back in August of last year and will be their fourth album overall. Holding onto the theme of a carnival, i☆Ris hopes to celebrate their eighth year of being in the Japanese music industry through a huge festival of sorts with all of their members and fans.

Shall we☆Carnival will be released with eleven tracks total and three editions including a CD-only standard edition and two CD + Blu-ray limited editions. Not much is different about the two limited editions except the fact that one will also include a photo book. Unfortunately there are no pre-order links at the time of reporting however we shall update you guys when it does!
