MaRuRi to Ryuga Awaken in New Music Video!

Popular duo and music corner alumni, MaRuRi to Ryuga have released their music video for “Mezame,” which is the leading track for their third mini album, Aratamemashite, that released on October 21. “Mezame” was composed by MaRuRi herself and depicts a girl’s swaying love. The music video shows a girl, played by MaRuRi, who is expressing her feelings for her favorite person but her uneasy feelings could destroy the happiness, by the facial expressions and gestures during the situation. “Mezame” is a beautiful track and MaRuRi’s vocals shine in this ballad.

MaRuRi to Ryuga Raises Up the Tension Again with Upcoming Mini-Album!

Popular duo MaRuRi to Ryuga announced that they will be releasing a brand new mini-album, 改めまして。(Aratamemashite.) on October 21. This will be the latest mini-album release done the duo since お見知りおきを (Omishiri Okiwo) back in September of last year and will be their third overall. It will release with six tracks total and will include the recently released track “Sunny.” The mini-album will drop with two editions: a CD only standard edition and a CD+DVD limited edition, the DVD of which will include several music videos.

a-nation online 2020” will celebrate its 19th year by broadcasting worldwide on August 29, featuring over 50 Japanese and international artists including ayumi hamasaki, Daichi Miura, KODA KUMI, SUPER JUNIOR, BACK-ON, SuperM, The World Standard (Wasuta), FAKY, and more.

a-nation is the largest summer music festival in Japan and has amassed over 6.1 million festival-goers since beginning in 2002. This year's festival due to the ongoing crisis will shift online, featuring five stages from all over Asia. Performances from the "Blue Stage", "Green Stage", and "Yellow Stage" will be available to digital ticket holders, as well as free broadcasts from the "Purple Stage" and "White Stage" on Avex’s YouTube channel and LINE respectively.

Music Corner 48: MaRuRi To Ryuga

MaRuRi To Ryuga is a co-ed music duo composed of the powerful vocalist MaRuRi and smooth vocalist Ryuga. MaRuRi and Ryuga came together in April of 2018 and are currently signed under EMI Records, subsidiary of Univeral Music Group. MaRuRi got started at a young age singing in the chorus and continued until her third year of high school. She gained a lot of popularity early by posting herself singing on her twitter account. Ryuga as a child was really into singing karaoke. In high school, Ryuga actually spent time studying in New York. Both singers were born in 1997. In the time they have been together they have released two EPs and three singles.

MaRuRi To Ryuga deliver powerhouse performances. The integrity of the duo solely rests on their strong vocal talent. Ryuga has gentle but well built vocals while MaRuRi carries a majestic presence in her voice. The two come together to create memorable experiences. Their ability to harmonize is expertly done and really elevates their songs. In the single “Hajimari No Uta”, the listener can really hear MaRuRi and Ryuga’s talent on display. The song starts with MaRuRi’s soft vocals on display before transitioning to her more powerful vocals. Ryuga’s mirrors MaRuRi in his approach and when they start to harmonize the whole song comes together in what feels like magic.
