Akai Kouen Takes their Bow with Latest Music Video!

To honor the release of the band’s last single, Akai Kouen dropped the music video for the track “Orange” and “pray” on their YouTube channel. This is coming off the tragic news of the loss of guitarist Maisa Tsuno back in October and was written and composed by her. The music for "Orange" is a simple one as it captures the appearance of the members playing. The music video for "pray" consists of the girls riding a car or ferry, relaxing at a restaurant, and going on a short trip. The single released with a CD-only standard edition which is available below alongside the music videos in question.

Akai Koen's Maisa Tsuno has Passed Away.

We at Ongaku To You are deeply upset to report that Akai Koen’s Maisa Tsuno was found dead in her apartment on October 18th. The band commented on the news on their official website, “…Both members and staff cannot accept reality due to the sudden sad news. The funeral will be held only by close relatives due to the wishes of the bereaved family. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of you for your kindness and pray for your souls from the bottom of our hearts. "

Akai Koen will release a double-sided A-side single "Orange / pray" on November 25th that includes the opening theme and ending theme of the drama Time-Keeping Band that will start broadcasting on Fuji TV from midnight on October 19th (Monday).

Maisa Tsuno was only 29. Not only was she the lead guitarist for the band but also the lyric writer and composer for other artists in the industry such as Airi Suzuki, Morning Musume, and Tsubaki Factory. We at OTY give our thoughts and prayers to Tsuno’s friends and family through this terrible time.
