GLAY Brings Democracy to Fans' Homes!

Industry staple and popular Japanese rock band GLAY announced that their latest tour, 「GLAY ARENA TOUR 2019-2020 DEMOCRACY 25TH HOTEL GLAY THE SUITE ROOM」, will be hitting shelves August 12! This release will include their final performance of their Arena Tour that took place at Yokohama Arena in January. The guiartist HISASHI took control of the production for this tour with the concept theme of “HOTEL GLAY Satsujin Jiken (Murder Case)”. This release will also include bonus features such as “HOTEL GLAY Satsujin Jiken - Director’s Cut ver.” where each of the member’s monsters shine, documentary of “HOTEL GLAY Satsujin Jiken), eight different types of end rolls that change for each performance, and an audio commentary by the members!

「GLAY ARENA TOUR 2019-2020 DEMOCRACY 25TH HOTEL GLAY THE SUITE ROOM」 lets fans choose between a Blu-ray or DVD version of the release. Both releases will include the same bonus features; however, they will be spread out over multiple discs on the DVD version. Each edition will also include a tour guide book! If you are a member of GLAY’s FanClub, they will be releasing a special G-DIRECT Limited Edition which includes extra bonus features and live performances. Moka Sato Works With TENDRE On New Album

Singer Moka Sato revealed she will be releasing her third album, GLINTS, August 5. The title for the new album is “a nod to glitter” and the album features a seasonal theme. TENDRE was in charge of arranging the lead song of the album, “Glints”, which serves as a summer song with a “refreshing sense and vibrant momentum”. Not only has TENDRE helped with the new album but SPENSR, Masaki Matsuura, and Reiki Urakami also participated on the album. Yukari Tamura Dares Fans to Catch Her With Latest Music Video!

Popular voice actress-turned-vocalist Yukari Tamura released the music video for her track “Catch me Cats me” on her YouTube channel. Attached to her upcoming album Candy tuft set for release June 24, the track takes a more bubbly composition to match her girly personality. The album will be the latest release by the artist since her mini-album Strawberry candle back in May of last year and is her eleventh album overall.  It will be released with ten tracks and will drop with only a CD-only standard edition. I Don't Like Mondays Is Enjoying Sunflowers With New Collaboration!

Japanese fusion rock band and Music Corner alumnus I Don’t Like Mondays announced a special collaboration with New York based rock band Great Good Fine Ok. Great Good Fine Ok have been fans of I Don’t Like Mondays for quite some time so this makes it a dream collaboration. The collaboration track will be titled “Sunflower” and it will be released on all digital platforms July 22. I Don’t Like Mondays wrote the lyrics to “Sunflower” while Great Good Fine Ok arranged and mixed it.

I Don’t Like Mondays also announced they will be doing their first paid streaming live July 15. The tickets will cost 3500 yen ($35) and there will be T-shirts available for purchase for the livestream. After the main performance an afterparty live will be available for Fanclub members to enjoy. It will include talks with the band and an audition video of their newest track “Sunflower” before it debuts! EMPiRE Announces "Super Cool" EP

Girl idol group EMPiRE revealed they will be releasing a brand new EP titled Super Cool EP which is set to be released August 5. The new EP will have seven total brand new songs, three of which written by MAYU EMPiRE, two by MAHO EMPiRE, and one by MiDORiKO EMPiRE.

Super Cool EP will drop in three editions including a standard CD-only edition, a CD+DVD limited edition, and a cassette tape+Blu-ray limited edition. With the DVD is included a clip of the GREAT PARTY EXCEPTION and the Blu-ray includes both the GREAT PARTY EXCEPTION footage along with the GREAT JOURNEY ALBUM LiVE concerts that took place last year.
