Eir Aoi Shows Fans Her Will In New Single!

Japanese pop vocalist Eir Aoi is dropping her latest single “I will…” August 12. “I will…” will be featured in the popular anime Sword Art Online: Alicization War of the Underworld part 2 as the ending theme and will begin airing July 20. Eir Aoi had previously sung “Iris” which was used as the ending theme for Sword Art Online: Alicization which aired n 2018. “I will…” is a beautiful piece with the theme of walking closer together with the hearts of others and takes the form of a powerful ballad. This is the first single of 2020 of Eir Aoi’s and follows up on her last single “Hoshi ga Furu Yume” which was the first ending theme to the popular anime Fate/Grand Order: Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia and came out in November 2019.

Eir Aoi’s “I will…” will be released in three editions: a CD + DVD limited edition, CD-only standard edition, and a CD + DVD limited pressing edition. The CD + DVD limited edition will come with the music video for “I will…” and include the instrumental track for it as well. The CD + DVD limited pressing edition will be released with the non-credit ending theme animation for Sword Art Online: Alicization War of the Underworld part 2 and a TV-sized version of the lead track “I will…”. The CD-only standard edition will include a total of four tracks, one of those the instrumental for “I will…”. Currently the full track listing is still to be determined but a tentative track listing and pre-order links are below!

AK-69 Drops New Album After Year And A Half

Hip-hop artist AK-69 announced he will be releasing a brand new album titled LIVE : live which is going to be released August 5. The new album features artists R-designated (Creepy Nuts), ZORN, SWAY (DOBERMAN INFINITY), IO (KANDYTOWN), ￥ellow Bucks, and MC TYSON, all of whom helped contribute to the new album.

LIVE : live is being released in two editions total, a standard edition which will be CD-only and a limited edition which will come with a bonus DVD. The CD will feature a total of fifteen tracks plus a bonus track and the DVD is set to feature eleven tracks. The full track listing is posted below along with the teaser for “Bussin' feat. ￥ellow Bucks” which is on the upcoming album.

VELTPUNCH Shows Why They Are King With Upcoming Release!

Four-member rock band VELTPUNCH announced that they will be releasing a brand new album, Suicide King, August 5. This will be the latest album release by the band since THE NEWEST JOKE back in July 2016 and will be their ninth album overall. The album will feature nine tracks including the recent digital releases “New cinema paradox”, “She knows”, and “Suicide King”. The release with be made available both physically and digitally across all streaming platforms. The physical release is to include an acoustic version of their song “CRAWL” as a bonus tenth track. Ayumi Hamasaki Counts Down to the Promised Land in Live Blu-ray!

Japanese pop singer-songwriter, icon, and industry veteran Ayumi Hamasaki announced her latest Count Down tour, ayumi hamasaki COUNTDOWN 2019-2020 -Promised Land A-, will be released via Blu-ray August 26! Ayumi-san began her New Years COUNTDOWN concerts in 2000 at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo and continued releasing them on DVD/Blu-ray until her COUNTDOWN 2014-2015 A Cirque de Minuit -Mayonaka no Circus. This will be the first time in three years Ayumi-san has released her COUNTDOWN tour on DVD/Blu-ray to celebrate New Years Eve and it was a celebration to capture her coming back to her “Sacred Place” to perform. Ayumi-san delivers a one-night premium show with overwhelming acts from all over the world including a full choir, strings, horns, unique stage production, and more!

Ayumi-san’s ayumi hamasaki COUNTDOWN 2019-2020 -Promised Land A- will come in four editions: a DVD, Blu-ray, a 2-CD + Blu-ray + GOODS FanClub, and a 2-CD + DVD + GOODS FanClub . Each release will include a total of 27 performances and many of Ayumi-san’s classics such as “Fly high” and “Boy's&Girls” along with newer tracks such as “how beautiful you are” and “Song 4 U”. Kirai Hiiragi Brings Hate In New Album

Vocaloid composer Kirai Hiiragi announced they will be dropping a brand new album titled Hateful August 26. Hateful is Kirai’s first album to be released and they released their first song via YouTube on January 10 of last year. 

Hateful is being released in a CD-only edition and will feature a total of thirteen songs. One of the songs on the album will be the song “Autophagy” which is posted below along with the pre-order link for the new album.
