WEAKEND WALKER Announces First Physical Release for Upcoming EP!

Three-member band WEAKEND WALKER announced that they will be releasing a brand new EP, 黒点 (Kokuten), July 15. This will be the latest release by the band since their single “DREAM EATER” back in January and will be their first physical release. The EP will drop with five tracks along with instrumentals and will exclusively be sold via Tower Records Japan. WEAKEND WALKER also released the music video for lead track “Kokuten” on their official YouTube channel.

The band also announced that they will be holding a release event live at Tokyo’s Veats Shibuya on September 19. Live tickets will be made available via a purchase of the EP. However, the event might be postponed due to pandemic concerns. Check out the music video in question along with the pre-order link for Kokuten (Japanese only) below!

One OK Rock Drops At-home Video

Four-member rock band One OK Rock released a brand new music video for their song “Kanzen Zaitaku Dreamer”. The video depicts each member in their home playing their instruments and the lead singer singing with a TV remote. Check it out below.

Koda Kumi Shows Fans How To Dance in ECSTASY!

Japanese pop vocalist and major industry staple Koda Kumi released an instructional dance video for her popular track “ECSTASY” (2009). She will teach you the choreography to “ECSTASY” in about 10 minutes. Even those who have never danced before can follow along, exercise, or simply listen to her while at home. SANTAWORLDVIEW Shows Off Lifestyle With Latest Music Video!

Rapper SANTAWORLDVIEW released the music video for his track “BLUEFACE” on his official YouTube channel. With this track attached to his first album Sinterklass back in January, SANTAWORLDVIEW brings his high pace rap skills and talents to the forefront. The video, which was directed by YAMIE ZIMMER, shows off the rapper’s larger than life lifestyle. Through the video there are also several guest appearances from other rappers such as Lil Skies, Yung Pinch, and MadeinTYO. 

SANTAWORLDVIEW also announced that he will be holding his first one-man live at TokyoWWW live house July 29.  However, it might be postponed due to COVID-19 concerns. Check out the music video in question below!

DIALOGUE + Records New Single At Home

Voice actress unit DIALOGUE + announced that they recorded their latest single titled “Atarimaedakara”, which is set to come out June 17. DIALOGUE +  formed in June of last year and is made up of eight voice actresses. What makes this new song interesting is it was recorded after Japan went on lockdown so all the parts had to be recorded from the homes of all of the members. It’ll be super interesting to see how this turns out. Pre-orders are not up at the time of posting but be sure to check out their last single (which came out in April), “Murakami ma Natsu”, in the video below.
