Hump Back Hopes to See Fans One More Time With Latest Release

Three-member girl rock band Hump Back released a brand new track, “また会う日まで” (“Mata Au Hi Made”), across all digital music streaming platforms. This is the band’s first digital release and it will be their latest since their major label debut album 人間なのさ (Ningen Nanosa) back in May of last year. Their track named after the current crisis, Hump Back commented that even though the current situation is tough, “We hope our music and message can lift up our listeners again till we meet again.”  While this track is released across all digital music streaming platforms, it’s only for a limited time—until June 15 JST—so be sure to check it out!

Music Corner album MAN WITH A MISSION announced that they will release a brand new single, “Change the World”, July 1. This will be the latest single by the band since “Dark Crow” back in October of last year and will be their twelfth overall. Currently the track is set to be this year’s NHK Soccer theme song and it had been originally planned to be released June 17. However, due to the ongoing crisis, the band decided to delay the release in order to celebrate the release with everyone when things get back to normal. The B-side track “Rock Kingdom feat Tomoyasu Hotei” is the second song for this unique collaboration since “Give It To The Universe” back in May of last year on Hotei’s GUITARHYTHM VI album.

Aimyon Shares A Piece of Her Heart Filming At Home!

Vocalist Aimyon released a “short movie” for her track “裸の心” (“Hadaka no Kokoro”) on her official YouTube channel. Released across all digital music streaming platforms this past week, “Hadaka no Kokoro” will be used as the theme song for the slice of life drama 私の家政夫ナギサさん ( Watashi no Kaseifu no Nagisa-san) and is planned for physical release June 17. The “movie” was shot in her own home (along with several other locations) to give off an indie feel; she was also given cinematography credit for several shots in the “movie”.

The single will drop with two tracks and a third being the instrumental for “Hadaka no Kokoro”. The single will be available only through a CD-only standard edition. Awich Has Fans Looking Towards the Light With Latest Music Video!

Vocalist Awich released the music video for her track “First Light (Prod. Chaki Zulu)” on YENTOWN’s official YouTube channel. Taken off her latest album 孔雀 (KUJAKU), the track is imbued with a reggae style of composition, weaving in and out of a slow and relaxing vocal range to a fiery fast one, making this a track one to listen to over and over again. Awich herself commented on the track, stating that “Even in the darkness where you can't escape, the light always comes in. So believe in that first light and survive.” She also made a comment toward her fans, saying that she looks forwards to singing in front of everyone again soon and “until we see that first light again, Peace.”

As previously reported, KUJAKU was her second full-length album, released on January 11. It features the previously released songs “NEBUTA”, “Kami Hikouki (Paper Airlplane)”, “Gangsta”, “Open It Up”, and more, totaling to 20 tracks! “Sen’nou (Brainwashing)” is a heavy hip hop track featuring two indie rappers, DOGMA and CHINZA DOPENESS. It was produced by Chaki Zulu, who has played a role in many of Awich’s songs.

avex Gets Busy Uploading Videos To YouTube

Record company avex announced they will be dropping one hundred videos to YouTube. The videos are all part of a video series titled Autsude Parapara ♪ STAY HOME & PARAPARA. The series will focus on a unique Japanese dance style called parapara which is set to Eurobeat styles of music and focuses on the hands. The video series was launched to help people stuck inside, offering them something to do with their hands to pass the time. Two of these videos can be found below.
