SUPER BEAVER Gives Fans a New Highlight With Major Label Debut!

Four-member pop rock band SUPER BEAVER announced that they signed with major label Sony Music Records and will release their first major label single, “ハイライト / ひとりで生きていたならば” (“Highlight/ Hitori de Ikiteitanaraba”), June 10. While this is their fifteenth year in the Japanese music industry, the band hopes to take the genre to the next level while signing with the label and wishes their fans will join them along for the ride. The surprise doesn’t stop there, as on their official YouTube channel they have already released a preview for “Highlight”.

The single will feature three tracks and drop with two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a 2-CD-only limited edition. The second CD will include live concert audio rips for several tracks across several years of the band’s history, making this a great jumping-on point for new fans.

Zutomayo Announces Third Mini-Album

Rock band Zutto Mayonaka de Iinoni, also known as Zutomayo, revealed they will be releasing their third mini-album, Hogaraka na Hifu tote Fufuku, August 5. Zutomayo got started in 2018 and is a super secretive group with no official member list ever being announced; they credit different people for their music, arrangements, and music video production for each release. There is one recurring member, however: an unknown vocalist who goes by the moniker “ACA-NE” (“ACAね”), pronounced “akane”.

Hogaraka na Hifu tote Fufuku is being released in two editions, a standard CD-only edition and a limited edition which will come with a bonus CD and a manga. The first disc will include six new tracks with a bonus track which will be unique depending on which edition you buy. The bonus CD with the limited edition will feature another six tracks for new songs which will be instrumental only. The full track listing has yet to be revealed but pre-orders are up and posted below along with their latest music video, for their song “Justice”.

Akari Haneda Shows it’s No Time Like the Present With Latest Release!

Up-and-coming vocalist Akari Haneda announced that she just released her mini-album 0時0分0秒 (0 Ji 0 Bun 0 Byo) across all digital music streaming platforms. Originally the physical copy for the mini-album was sold exclusively during her release tour at Nishi-EifukuJAM in Tokyo last December, making the digital release a godsend for fans who weren’t able to participate. The mini-album, which originally dropped with six tracks, will include an exclusive seventh track for its digital release.

Awesome City Club Shows Fans Their Vital Signs With Latest Music Video!

Ahead of their April 29 release, four-member rock band Awesome City Club dropped the music video for their upcoming track “Vital Signs” on their official YouTube channel. This one is set to be one of the lead tracks for their upcoming album Grow apart. The band hits the ground running by not only releasing the music video, but also the track, across all digital music streaming platforms. Turning fans’ expectations on its head once again, “Vital Signs” is an upbeat track brought to life through onion skin animation, which might seem unique to modern animation, but it’s those certainly out of the box ideas that bring the best out of Awesome City Club.

Grow apart will feature eleven tracks total and be the latest album release by the band since Catch The One last December and will be their second album overall since signing with Avex back in 2015. The album will drop with two editions including a CD-only standard edition and a CD + Blu-ray limited edition. The Blu-ray will include the entirety of their Awesome talks -Nice Buddy Tour 2019 tour which took place at Shibuya WWW X live house last December.

Mizuki Ohira Shines Bright Under the Moonlight With Latest Music Video!

Ahead of her upcoming album release, vocalist Mizuki Ohira dropped the music video for her track “Moonlight feat. Bito Nanaota” on Spincoaster’s official YouTube channel. This song is set to be one of the lead tracks for IN ANY WAY, which will be released April 29. Here, Ohira brings out her calming vocals along with singer-songwriter Bito Nanaota, who complements her in every way. “Moonlight” was written by both Ohira and Nanaota, with Ohira taking composition duty. 

The album is to feature twelve tracks, a majority of which written by Ohira herself. This will also be the latest release from her since her single “Eternal My Room” back in December of last year and will be her fifth album overall. IN ANY WAY will feature a CD-only standard release which you can pre-order below. Also, be sure to watch the music video for “Moonlight”!
