Brian the Sun Crosses the Pacific to Perform at Kawaii Kon!

Four-member rock band Brian the Sun announced that they will be going to this year’s Kawaii Kon in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii in May. This will be the second consecutive year the band will venture internationally after visiting A-kon last year. Famous for theme songs for the popular anime BORUTO NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS and My Hero Academia, Brian the Sun promises to give fans a performance of a lifetime. The band will also release a new mini-album, orbit, February 26; several tracks from the album may be debuted during their live.

BiSH Launches Own YouTube Page

Alternative idol group BiSH launched its own YouTube channel January 13. To commemorate the launch of the channel a documentary titled GRUNGE WORLD was posted to the page which chronicles the group’s work. The channel has all the music videos that were already on avex’s channel, plus BiSH posted an opening video of their one-man live, TO THE END, which was at Kanagawa and Yokohama Arena in May of 2018. SCANDAL Tells Fans Meaning of A.M.D.K.J in Latest Video!

Popular Japanese pop rock girl band SCANDAL released their latest music video and tenth digital single on January 8 called “A.M.D.K.J.” to promote their newest album Kiss from the darkness which is set to be released February 12! “A.M.D.K.J” is currently being used as the ending theme song to the popular anime Gegege no Kitaro which is airing on Fuji TV. In “A.M.D.K.J” fans get to experience the lovely ladies in their element rocking out in a simplistic yet fun promotional video so check it out below!! Hey! Say! JUMP announces new single

Johnny’s group Hey! Say! JUMP revealed they will be dropping a brand new double A-side single titled “I am / Muah Muah” which will be released February 26. The song “I am” is being used as the theme song for the drama series 「僕はどこから」(Boku wa doko kara). “I am / Muah Muah” is being released in three editions total: a CD-only standard edition, a Limited Edition One that will come with a bonus DVD, and a Limited Edition Two that will also come with a bonus DVD. Limited Edition One will feature the music video for “I am” and Limited Edition Two will feature the music video of “Muah Muah”. The standard edition will feature two unique songs which will be exclusive to that edition but it has not been revealed what those songs will be. Pre-orders are currently up and will be posted below along with the full track listing.

AIMYON Drops Teaser for New Music Video!

Japanese popular singer-songwriter AIMYON just dropped a teaser for her latest music video “Sayonara no Kyo ni” which serves as the theme to the Japanese TV show news zero. This is the latest release since “Sora no Aosa wo Shiro Hito yo” as AIMYON is currently on tour—which you can read more about in our previous article.
