SIRUP has knockout one-man live

Music Corner alum SIRUP performed his very first one-man live at Zepp DiverCity TOKYO on December 4. It was broadcast on channel 01. On December 12 SIRUP performed again and this time it was at Zepp Namba in Osaka. Both of his performances were completely sold out and featured his performance of hits like “LOOP” which has been featured in a Honda VEZEL TOURING commercial. This has helped “LOOP” garner eleven million views on YouTube. SIRUP also had live guests who performed with him during the show, notably BIM and TENDRE who also helped out SIRUP with his recently released album FEEL GOOD. During the performance SIRUP announced he will be dropping a brand new EP on March 25 but no other details were announce except that it will drop with six tracks total and that the pre-orders are available (and will be posted below). The EP is being dropped in two editions including a standard edition which will be CD-only and a limited edition which will come with a bonus DVD featuring footage from his FEEL GOOD TOUR 2019 tour which took place in Tokyo earlier in the year.

Polkadot Stingray Leads Fans Into a New Era with a Brand New Mini-Album!

Four-member rock band Polkadot Stingray released a trailer divulging more information about their upcoming fourth mini-album 新世紀 (Shin Seiki) on their official YouTube channel. Releasing January 8th, the trailer shows a sneak peak of all four tracks on the mini-album along with the studio live footage of two tracks as well. To entice fans even more into buying the album, the trailer also included footage of their five year anniversary talk, along with solo performances of several tracks making it an interesting view for fans.

As previously reported Shin Seiki will also be released in a CD + DVD standard edition only and will be used to kick off the group’s fifth year in the Japanese music industry. Due to the uniqueness of the footage included on the DVD, the print amount for this release is only 20,000 copies, making this a decently sought-after item for fans of the group.

KANA-BOON Announces First Greatest Hits Album

Rock band KANA-BOON has revealed they will be dropping their very first greatest hits album titled KANA-BOON THE BEST and will be released on March 4. KANA-BOON will be celebrating fourteen years in the industry and KANA-BOON THE BEST will be the band’s seventh album since going major. Pre-orders are not currently available and full details are still waiting to be announced but congratulations to KANA-BOON for making it this long! Along with this, it was announced that KANA-BOON will be holding their very first hall tour titled KANA-BOON THE BEST TOUR 2020 which will be held from April to June and the full schedule is posted below. General ticket sales start on February 29.

LONGMAN Teases a Sneak Peak of New Album

Three-member rock band LONGMAN announced that they will be releasing a brand new album,  Just A Boy February 5. This will be the latest album done by the group since So Long back in November of 2016 and will be their third overall. 

Just A Boy will be the band’s first major label album since signing with Sony back in November 2019 and not much else is known about the album except that it will include the popular track “Replay” which is currently set to be the theme song for the upcoming school drama ゆるキャン△ (Yuru Kyan) along with lead track “Just A Boy”. To build up hype for the upcoming album the band released a small teaser for their track “Just A Boy” on their official YouTube channel. Showing off their already incredible skill the music video shows off their high speed composition amongst several BMX and street performers.

BALLISTIK BOYZ Announces Second Single

Popular boy group BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE have announced their second single “ANTI-HERO’S”. Set to be released on February 12, “ANTI-HERO’S” will contain a message from the group about, “their way of life in pursuit of what they believe”. BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE has also announced their first hall tour titled BALLISTIK BOYZ LIVE TOUR 2020 "BBZ" that will start in February. No official date has been announced yet. Lastly, “ANTI-HERO’S” will be released digitally on January 22. “ANTI-HERO’S” is being released in two editions, a standard edition that will be CD-only and a CD + DVD combo package.
