Dizzy Sunfist releases one-man live

Punk rock band and Indie Corner alum Dizzy Sunfist announced they will be releasing the live taping of their one-man live performance at Shinkiba Studio Coast. This was to commemorate the band’s ten year anniversary in the music industry. There are a total of thirty-seven songs that were performed for the one-man live. The live is titled One-Man,BARI,Ya-Man DX and will be released January 1 next year. One-Man,BARI,Ya-Man DX is being released in two editions, a DVD edition and a Blu-ray edition. EMPiRE shows the world who they are with latest music video!

Six-member idol group EMPiRE dropped the music video for their track “WE ARE THE WORLD” on their official YouTube channel. “WE ARE THE WORLD” is the set to be the lead track for the group’s upcoming second album GREAT JOURNEY ALBUM, set for release December 18. Like several songs previously released by EMPiRE, “WE ARE THE WORLD” is produced by the amazing composition team SCRAMBLES with Kenta Matsukuma taking the composition work and JxSxK on lyrics.
Dropping with ten tracks total, GREAT JOURNEY ALBUM will manifest in three editions: a CD-only standard edition, a CD + DVD limited edition, and a Cassette + Blu-ray + CD + Photo book collector’s edition. Not much is different between the editions except that collector’s edition will feature an additional eleventh track and the DVD and Blu-ray will include the footage from their EVOLUTiON live tour from Mynavi BLITZ AKASAKA which took place back in July. For true fans of EMPiRE, the CD that is included with the collector’s edition will include a fifteen-track rip of the same live tour, with the Blu-ray also including several music videos that are featured on the album. Chay shows fans a new shade of Lavender with new album

Popular Japanese vocalist, songwriter, and model chay brought us a lovely shade of lavender with a new album, Lavender, November 13! Chay is known very well known in magazine CanCam as she has been an exclusive model with them since 2014 and she has been in the music industry since 2012. This is chay’s first full length album release in over two years since her chayTEA came out in June of 2017 and third album overall. Lavender comes with fourteen lovely tracks, many of which produced by Takeshi Takebe and the album was released in two beautiful editions. The CD limited edition includes an IC holder with a mobile phone ring selected from one of three kinds and it will also come with a lavender colored case. If you are able to grab the first pressing edition of either edition you will receive a B3 sized poster as a bonus so grab your copies below!

SCANDAL embraces the darkness in new album

Rock band SCANDAL revealed they will be dropping their first album since the creation of their own record label titled “her”. The new album, Kiss from the darkness, will be dropping February 12 next year. Kiss from the darkness is SCANDAL’s ninth album overall and their first album in two years; their last was Honey, released February 14, 2018. The singles that have been released since the formation of her will be on the new album with songs “Masterpiece”, “Blink”, “Fuzzy”, and “Final Weapons”. Kiss from the darkness will mark a new direction for the band. Lead vocalist Haruna commented, “I think you can hear new challenges and experimental parts from the songs that have already been released.” 

The excitingly fresh album is being released in four editions total: a standard CD-only edition, a limited edition Type A which comes with a bonus DVD, a limited edition type B which comes with a magazine, and a limited edition that comes with bonus DVD plus a T-shirt. The full track listing has not yet been revealed but there will be a total of fifteen tracks on the CD. The limited edition Type A DVD will feature a documentary which will follow the members of SCANDAL for the first year of their new label and the DVD for the limited edition will contain a music video for the already released singles. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with the group’s song “Masterpiece”.

BLUE ENCOUNT shows fans just how bright they can shine with new music video!

On the heels of the release of their upcoming single, popular four-member rock band BLUE ENCOUNT released the music video for their upcoming single “Polaris” on their official YouTube channel. As previously announced, “Polaris” is being used as the opening theme for the fourth season of hit anime My Hero Academia and is the the group’s twelfth single overall. The video shows footage of the boys atop a mysterious cliffside beside the ocean interspliced with colorful sketches of the band, holding a tiny hint of A-ha’s hit “Take On Me”’s iconic music video.

As previously reported, “Polaris” will be released with three editions including a CD-only standard edition, a CD + DVD limited edition, and a CD + DVD special edition. Both the standard edition and the limited edition will drop with only two tracks and the DVD on the special edition will be a special studio live to commemorate the band’s fifth year major label anniversary. Not to be outdone by the other two editions, the special edition also will drop with three tracks along with a TV-size snippet of their song “Polaris” being used for My Hero Academia. The DVD will also include a no-credit version of the opening.
