milet takes walk through nature in latest music video!

Music Corner veteran and up-and-coming Japanese powerhouse vocalist milet takes a walk through nature with wolves in a spectacular music video to promote her latest EP Drown/You & I. The video for “Drown” premiered October 31 and was shot in sunny California. It features a story of milet meeting a wolf and going on a journey with it. This is a beautifully shot video. “Drown” is also the ending theme for the popular anime series Vinland Saga which is currently airing in Japan. Shoko Nakagawa shows her True Color with brand new album!

All-around talent Shoko Nakagawa announced that she will be releasing a brand new album RGB ～True Color～  December 4. This will be the latest album by Nakagawa since her album 9lives back in 2014 and will be her fifth album overall. Nakagawa commented about the title saying that since her debut she’s gone through genre shifts and sneakily coordinated each shift to the colors red, green, and blue.

The album is set for release with eight tracks across three different editions: a CD-only standard edition, a CD + DVD limited edition, and a CD + DVD collector edition. There are a multiple of differences between the two CD + DVD editions but the DVDs will include the same amount of music videos. The CD track listing will be somewhat different as well: while the limited edition will include an additional two tracks, the collector edition, being for true fans, will include sixteen tracks. Noritake Kinashi brings his funky best with first album!

Japanese icon Noritake Kinashi, who is most famous for his comedy act Tunnels, announced his first album entitled Kinashi Funk The Best which will hit shelves December 11! This announcement comes hot in tail after his release of debut single “Kinashi FUNK -Nori Nori No-ri-“ on which the song “GG STAND UP” was a hit. You can check out our initial article regarding his debut single here. Kinashi Funk The Best will include songs from “Kinashi FUNK -Nori Nori No-ri-” such as “GG STAND UP feat. Takahiro Matsumoto”, “Laughing Days”, “Choi Mai Love Feat. Fuji Fumiya”, and “I LOVE YOU dai monde”, along with six new songs—setting a total of ten songs. Kinashi Funk The Best will come in two editions, a CD + DVD limited edition and a CD-only regular edition. The DVD will include recordings from his collaboration with GYAO! showmore tells fans it's too close to know what's to come next with new album!

Music Corner alum showmore announced they will be releasing a brand new album, too close to know, December 18. This will be the latest album from the duo since overnight back in 2018.

Containing ten tracks, too close to know will include hit track “now”, featuring fellow Music Corner star SIRUP, along with digitally released track “1mm”. It will also be available only through a CD-only standard edition. SIRUP will not be the only guest artist to appear on the album as LUCKY TAPES, Mori Zentaro, and Shin Sakiura participated in some way as well. Unfortunately there are no pre-order links for the album at this time but in the meantime check out the studio live version of “call my name” below!

KIRA shows us the perfect love with new digital single and more!

Japanese R&B/reggae vocalist and songwriter KIRA brings a new digital single after over half a year. “perfect love” dropped digitally October 30 while its video just debuted on YouTube November 5 to promote it. The track was produced by Kazuhiko Maeda and brings a sweet R&B sound to KIRA’s husky, smoky vocals. The song represents and shows the bonds and love that women and men show each other. It discusses the bonds they share and how neither can live without each other, hence the title of “perfect love”. You can get your copy on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, and Amazon Music! Also check out KIRA’s The Diva -Documentary to ReBirth of KIRA- DVD signing which will take place November 17 from 15:00~1600 JST at E.S.P. Trickstar Osaka.

KiRA will be hosting her ReBirth Premium One Man Live December 25 at Umeda Club Quattro. Doors open at 18:00 and the event starts at 19:00. Tickets are 4200 yen in advance and 5200 yen at the door.
