SOLIDEMO's second single holds promise

Eight-member music group SOLIDEMO announced they will be dropping their second single November 27. The upcoming single has yet to be revealed but if the group’s first song is any indication, this should be a big hit. SOLIDEMO’s first single “Forever young” debuted at number two on the Oricon charts the week of August 14. The new single is being released in two editions total, a standard CD-only edition and a limited edition that will come with a bonus DVD. It has yet to be revealed what will be on the DVD but pre-orders are already available for both editions. Pre-order at the link below and watch the music video for hit debut single “Forever young”.

SHISHAMO proves that love will be by their side with new music video!

Popular three-member rock band SHISHAMO dropped the music video for their upcoming track “君の隣にいたいから”  (“Kimi no Tonari ni Itaikara”) on their official YouTube channel. Dropping October 16, the track is already making waves as it was chosen to be this year’s title song for the NHK All-Japan School Choir Competition for the middle school division, a feat only some artists achieve. The video features the gripping theme of “loving time” which director Kyotaro Hayashi brilliantly exhibits with three generations of couples as they go through their everyday life with images of all three band members spliced in every so often. This drama-like approach serves as an example of a nice evolution of their music videos; compare it to the video for their track “私の夜明け” (“Watashi no Yoake”), which Hayashi also produced.

Per the norm of previous single releases from SHISHAMO, “Kimi no Tonari ni Itakara” will only feature a CD-only standard release and will include just three tracks. Check out the music video in question along with the pre-order link for “Kimi no Tonari ni Itakara” below!

THE CHARM PARK is looking for a Rebirth with upcoming album!

Coming off the heels of his latest mini-album Standing Tall, Music Corner alum THE CHARM PARK announced that he will be releasing a brand new album, Reverse & Rebirth, November 20. Reverse & Rebirth will be the latest album from THE CHARM PARK since Timeless Imperfections back in 2018 and will be his third overall. Currently not much is known about the album except that it will be released with ten tracks total and that it will feature two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a CD + DVD limited edition. The DVD will include his Billboard Live TOKYO one-man live performance he had back in July.

THE CHARM PARK also announced that he will be holding two lives to commemorate the release of Reverse & Rebirth, the first in ShibuyaWOMB live house in Tokyo December 6 and the second taking place in CLUB JOULE live house in Osaka December 13.

Marina Kawano brings fans her highest caliber with upcoming single!

Anime vocalist Marina Kawano announced that she will be dropping a brand new single, ”水恋”  (“Mizukoi”), November 20. This will be her latest single since “真人間入門” (“Maningen Nyumon”) earlier in May and will be her fifth single overall.

Teaming with music studio MONACA, Kawano commented that, this being her fifth year since her debut with a major label, she is disappointed that this will only be her second single with said label. “However,” she adds, “I’ll turn that around by bringing songs that everyone can enjoy and bring out the highest caliber of music to my fans.”

“Mizukoi” will drop with two different editions, a standard CD-only standard edition and a CD + DVD limited edition. Unfortunately no pre-order links are available at this time but we shall update you guys when more information is out!

TENDRE takes fans on a variety of sights and sounds with new music video!

Music corner alumnus TENDRE dropped the music video for his latest track “VARIETY” on RALLYE LABEL’s official YouTube channel. “VARIETY” will be one of the leading tracks for TENDRE’s upcoming EP IN SIGHT, dropping October 2. This will be the latest physical release by TENDRE since Not In Almighty’s release back in October of last year and will be the vocalist’s first EP since taking on this solo project. “VARIETY” was directed by creative duo Margt and introduces fans to mesmerizing compositions and lyrics with equal mesmerizing visuals to go along side it.

IN SIGHT will drop with a CD-only standard edition and will feature six tracks total. The EP is also set to include popular tracks “SIGN” and “ANYWAYS”, the latter of which being used as the main theme of Honda’s motorcycle campaign HondaGO. This will also mark a physical release for both tracks.
