Maaya Uchida shows that she is here with her fans with several previews of upcoming mini-album!

Popular voice actress-turned-vocalist Maaya Uchida uploaded several previews of her coming mini-album you are here on Anime PONY CANYON’s official YouTube channel. The mini-album will drop October 2 and will be her second overall. Uchida teased snippets of “波乗りキャリーオン” (“Naminori Carry-on”) and “Girl is fun” along with a music video preview of “Seasons Come, Seasons Go”.

you are here will be released with six tracks total and will have several guest artists also assisting Uchida this time around such as TAKE (FLOW), Tomoya Tabuchi (UNISON SQUARE GARDEN), and y0c1e. Uchida’s lead track “Naminori Carry-on” will also have a mash up of several bands such as TOTALFAT, FLOW, and SPYAIR to set the tone for the mini-album. you are here will be available in three editions, a CD-only standard edition and CD + DVD/Blu-ray limited editions. Several music videos along with a small photo book will be released with the limited editions but there will also be a raffle ticket offer to apply for Uchida’s ｢we are here」Zepp 2019 live tour which starts at the tail end of October.

Mariya Takeuchi sets industry standard with latest album!

Industry legend Mariya Takeuchi has done it once again with the release of her latest album Turntable which took the number one spot for this week’s Oricon Top 10 albums. What makes this feat extremely special this time around is that Takeuchi is one of the only artists to have a number one hit album in the past three eras of Japan( Showa, Heisei, and now Reiwa), with her previous hits being her LP LOVE SONGS back in the 1980s and Quiet Life in 1992. We would like to congratulate young 64-year-old Takeuchi for all she’s done for the industry and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next.

Ayumi Hamasaki celebrates twenty year anniversary of second album

Industry legend Ayumi Hamasaki released her second studio album LOVEppears twenty years ago along with her iconic single “appears”—that means it’s time to celebrate it by releasing it again. LOVEppears / appears -20th Anniversary Edition-  is going to drop November 10 and will be a complete remaster of Ayumi’s second album that uses the original recording tapes. The album will be released in two editions, a standard edition that will manifest in three discs total and a limited edition that will feature four discs plus a bonus DVD.  The limited edition will feature the famous album cover but it will be a full body shot and will feature digipak packaging along with a transparent sleeve. Music Corner Week 22: milet

milet is a pop vocalist and songwriter under Sony Music Entertainment. She made her debut on March 6th of this year with the EP inside you. The lead track, inside you was used as the opening theme for the Japanese drama QUEEN. milet has an extremely unique voice due to the deepness of her voice and how she projects it. She has a comparable vocal skill to the popular singer Adele.

Even though milet is a newcomer to the industry, she shows off that she has the skills of a veteran with her powerfully deep vocals and lyrics that resonate within your soul. milet’s capability to switch between Japanese and English so fluidly in her songs makes for a perfect transition, which also draws in both Eastern and Western listeners. Again and again, showcases her deep vocals and powerful lyrics with a catchy tune that makes you want to hear more. milet’s latest bop, us, features her wide range of vocal skills that she is capable of, such as her change of voice from the opening of the song into the versus’s to the chorus. Her debut song, inside you, is a bit of a slower song but introduces you to milet’s powerhouse vocals with a relaxing composition.

While milet has just made her debut this year with her first EP inside you, she has surprising churned out two more EPs, Wonderland and us. Not only does she already have three EPs so far, milet has her 4th EP titled Drown/You&I that will be releasing on November 6 and will be featured in the anime Vinland Saga. With three releases and a fourth upcoming, milet shows she has no intention of stopping anytime soon.

Airi Miyakawa does latest Detective Conan ending

Vocalist Airi Miyakawa announced she will be dropping her very first single November 6 which will be titled “Sissy Sky”. “Sissy Sky” will be used as the most recent ending theme for long-running crime drama anime series Detective Conan. Miyakawa is the younger sister of popular vocalist Miyakawa-kun and he will be performing the opening to the show at the same time she is doing the ending, which will be the first time in the long history of the show that the opening and ending are being done by siblings.

“Sissy Sky” will drop with three editions: a CD-only standard edition, a limited edition which will come with a bonus track, and a Detective Conan edition which will be CD-only and include the TV edit for “Sissy Sky”.
