Exile looks back over last four years!

Mega idol group EXILE dropped a brand new music video that looks back at their last four years of touring Japan. The video, “Love of History”, shows highlights from their tours spanning 2015 to 2019 and shows just how much the group has grown over time. “Love of History” is being used to promote EXILE’s upcoming home video release of their 2018-2019 tour EXILE Live Tour 2018-2019 "Star Of Wish" , set for release July 31. 

EXILE Live Tour 2018-2019 "Star Of Wish" is being released in four editions, two of which standard editions and the other two deluxe editions. The standard editions are being released on DVD and Blu-ray, the same ringing true for the deluxe editions, but the deluxe editions will also include a hundred-page photo book, slipcase packaging, and a download code for “Love of History”. Miyuki Watanabe kicks off summer with latest music video!

Former NMB48 idol Miyuki Watanabe dropped the music video for her latest track “Cheek-tic-Cheek” on Warner Music’s YouTube channel.  “Cheek-tic-Cheek” will be the lead song for Watanabe’s repackaging of her first solo album 17%, simply titled 17%-Repackage-, set for release July 10. Sporting a more summery feel than its original iteration, 17%-Repackage- will include five brand new tracks along with its original ten.

“Cheek-tic-Cheek” takes the summertime beat to max as the music video shows Watanabe cooling down and relaxing poolside. She is also featured dancing an amazingly choreographed routine that, I daresay, puts her NMB days to shame.

17% -Repackage- will drop with only a CD + DVD standard edition, the DVD will include Watanabe’s Christmas Premium Live concert which took place in Tokyo’s Shin Kiba Studio Coast last year, and the full video of “Cheek-tic-Cheek” including its Making Of.

IRONBUNNY brings new mini-album to save future of rock

Hard-rock band IRONBUNNY announced they will be releasing their debut mini-album Tettsui no Alternative, scheduled for release August 28 and set to be a throwback to the 80s and 90s rock of yesterday. IRONBUNNY gets its name from lead guitarist Ediee Ironbunny, a cyborg from the year 2300 who has come back in time to save the future of rock n’ roll from its death in the future.

Tettsui no Alternative is being released in a single edition that will be CD-only, and its track number has yet to be revealed. Pre-order your copy of Tettsui no Alternative here and check out IRONBUNNY’s debut trailer stating the mission of the group.

Charm shows fans how to Stand Tall with teaser of upcoming mini-album!

Singer-songwriter Charm’s solo project THE CHARM PARK released a small teaser for his upcoming mini-album Standing Tall on Avex’s official YouTube channel. Dropping July 3, Standing Tall will be the latest physical release by Charm since his album Timeless Imperfections back in December of last year.

The mini-album will include his previously released digital singles “Stars Colliding” and “花が咲く道” (“Hana ga Sakumichi”), the latter of which used as one of the ending theme songs for popular fantasy anime Black Clover. Like several of Charm’s previous releases Standing Tall will drop with only a CD-only standard edition and will feature a six-track total.

bonobos turns back time with a remastering of their first two albums!

Five-member rock band bonobos announced that they will be remastering their first album HOVER HOVER and second album electlyric for vinyl August 21. This will be the latest physical release from the group since their FOCK CITY FOCK EP back in 2017 and it will also be their first vinyl release. Originally released back in 2004 and 2005 respectively, HOVER HOVER and electlyric will drop with the same amounts of tracks as their original releases. On top of that, they will be released with two records for each album, making bonobos’ first outing into vinyl a must-buy for fans.
