SOL Drops Their Debut Single With A Bang!

Debuting idol group SOL released their debut single “RAINBOW TRAVELLER” on all streaming music platforms today (January 25) with a physical release to be released in February. Formed with the daunting concept of a “Cinematic Neo-Culture” idol group, just calling SOL a cookie cutter idol group could be far from the truth. 

The group’s sound producer Says had this to say about SOL and the very high image that they want to portray, “We want to be a group that every performance which the group go through has their audience watching them as close grip like a movie. A group that every time that a listener listens to SOL they look as the same song but from different perspective or feeling from the previous time they had listen to it.”

Indie Corner Week 28: Nakigoto

Nakigoto is a two-member pop-rock band formed last October (2018). Vocalist and rhythm guitarist Emily also boasts a melodic voice and forms amazing compositions. They bring a fresh yet nostalgic concept to a genre whose artists usually don’t innovate each other all too often. Check out Emily's artistry in action through “Metropolitan”. In this song, her voice just captures the listener in the most innocent ways that hark back to good ol' days spent drifting away to music with friends.

Currently Nakigoto has one single, “SIKI”, released last October.

Wanima Announces New Single!

Three-member band Wanima have announce they will be releasing a new single titled, “Good Job”, releasing on March 6. “Good Job” will serve as their first physical release since their album, Everybody!!, which came out last January.

“Good Job” itself will feature three tracks total, the first track, “Again,” is currently being used as the theme song for the drama Maison de Police. The third track, “ANSWER,” was also recently picked up to be part of an ad campaign for Morinaga’s “Weider in Jelly” brand energy drinks . Finally the limited edition release “Good Job” will feature an acoustic recording of an unreleased song titled “JOY.”

ISSA To Show Off His Amazing Vocals In DA PUMP's Upcoming Single!

Coming off the heels of their 2018 hit song “U.S.A” boy group DA PUMP announced their newest single, “桜” (“Sakura”), being released on March 6. “Sakura” will be the group’s first single of 2019 and will focus on vocalist ISSA amazing vocal range.  

“Sakura” will also release four different editions a Blu-ray and DVD Limited edition which will include the music video and making of for “Sakura”, along with a documentary movie they filmed in Vietnam. While the regular edition of the Blu-ray and DVD for the single will include a dance edit version for “Sakura”

YUKI Announces A Slew Of Guest For Her Upcoming Album!

Vocalist Yuki announced a brand new album titled, frome, releasing on February 6. forme is set to release with thirteen songs total, all which are written by Yuki herself. frome  will also star several guest composers to be featured throughout the album such as Sekaikan Ozaki, Maisa Tsuno (Akai Ko-en), Chara, Kawamoto Makoto. Gota Nishidera (NONA REEVES).

Along side with this announcement Yuki also announced that there will also be an analog version of forme releasing on March 13.
