Kana Nishino’s Latest Song Used As “3D Girlfriend” Theme Song!

Singer Kana Nishino announced today on her Twitter that her newest love song “Bedtime Story”, being released on September 12th, will be used as the theme song for the movie 3D彼女　リアルガール (3D Girlfriend Real Girl), which will be released on September 14th. 3D Girlfriend stars Yuto Sano and Yumi Nakajyo. Sano portrays an otaku with Nakajyo as his love interest.

“You feel for the guy's (Sano's) awkwardness toward the heroine (Nakajyo) and all of the situations that they are thrown together in," Nishino stated. "I wanted to convey the earnestness that they both feel for each other through this love song." Nishino titled the song “Bedtime Story”, because 3D Girlfriend’s love story seems like the type of stories you would hear before bedtime.

NMB48 Announces Music Video Box Set!

Mega idol group AKB48’s sister group NMB48 announced today a brand new music set, “NMB48 ALL CLIPS -黒髪から欲望まで”- (“Kuro Kami kara Yokubou made”), set for release on August 8th. This five-disc set will include all of NMB48’s music videos from debut single “絶滅黒髪少女 ("Zetsumetsu Kuro Kami Shoujo”, July 2011)" to their most recent single “欲望者 (“Yokubou Mono”)". It will also include all the team, sub-group, and dance versions of all of their songs, rounding out to a massive 112-song list.

SILENT SIREN Previews Newest Single!

Four-member pop band SILENT SIREN dropped a music video preview of their latest single, “19 summer note”, which will be released on July 11th. The music video conveys a soap opera-esque love story along with interspersed shots of the band.

Also announced was news that SILENT SIREN will be performing in a live titled “SILENT SIREN 2018 夏のスペシャルワンマンライブ("SILENT SIREN 2018 Natsu no Special One-man Live")” in August

Five-member metal band Crystal Lake announced today brand new single “THE CIRCLE”, which will be released on August 8th. “THE CIRCLE” will include three songs total, featuring artists coldrain and Gideon to accompany the band

Indie Corner Week 8: the shes gone

the shes gone are a four-member rock band that formed in 2016. Their hope is to have their song come close to what one feels through one's daily life. They have an interesting style that really brings the bass line to the limelight along with vocalist Kumaru’s unorthodox--yet soothing--singing voice that brings it out even more. Their song "想いあい ("Omoi Ai" exhibits a prime example of this synergy.

Currently they have one EP, town, which was released on 2017. In 2017 they won the “RO JACK for COUNTDOWN JAPAN 17/18” competition, which brought them to “COUNTDOWN JAPAN 17/18 (MOON STAGE)”. They only recently released their first single, “想いあい / young”, back in March.
