NOILION Releases Preview for Upcoming Release!

Lantis label announced the debut of NOILION, a three-person creator unit consisting of a singer, DJ, and VJ. The members are LIO, a world-class bilingual singer with a high-toned voice, KILLIT, an up-and-coming DJ who suddenly appeared on the scene, and REAK, a VJ at the forefront of the Japanese club scene who specializes in visually stunning live performances using projection mapping.

At the same time, a teaser video produced by VJ REAK was released on YouTube. This video was created using a green background and a technique called volumetric photography. Under NOILION’s concept of “Live On in the Noisy World”—that is, living on as a human through the noise and distortion of the digital age—this video expresses going back and forth between the real and digital worlds. 

It was also announced that NOILION has been chosen to produce the OP theme song for Ultraman Season 2, which will be released worldwide on Netflix this April. The title of the song is “3”. This name refers to three minutes of sound, Ultraman’s three minute timer, the three members of the group, and the three dimensions of the XR video produced by REAK. This song will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, and other major music distribution websites from today. Nakayama Kinni-kun is a comedian, bodybuilder and also YouTuber who has 1.39 million subscribers on his YouTube channel called, “The Muscle TV”. He covered the song “Muscles Please!” with a collaborator and made a music video on Wednesday the 26th of January. The song is the opening theme song of the TV anime, How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? The music video of this original song is a popular anime song worldwide and has been viewed over 241 million times.  He collaborated with Singing Cosplayer Hikari who is a global cover singer, a YouTuber and also a TikToker. She started her activity on social media on New Year's Day of 2021. She has released 23 anime and vocaloid cover songs in 2021 and her songs have been viewed over 8 million times and 97.4% of the viewers are from the outside of Japan. Her vocaloid cover song, ‘Yume To Hazakura’, which was released in April 2021 has been viewed over 2.45 million times and was ranked No.1 on the J-POP charts of 14 countries.

Nakayama Kinni-kun & Singing Cosplayer Hikari’s cover song, “Muscles Please!” ‘will been released as a song and music video to the entire world on January 26. The artist and the album cover photo has been revealed today. This song is going to be on air as the ending theme of the nationwide TV program “Doyou wa nani suru?!(What will you do on Saturday!?)” on both Kansai Telecasting Corporation and Fuji Television Network. The music video will be on air for 30 seconds every Saturday for 3 months. This is a great opportunity for them. This music video was shot at GOLD’S GYM at Makuhari Chiba ANNEX. While Nakayama Kinni-kun taught how to do the exercise, TikToker Singing Cosplayer Hikari choreographed the dancing. She hit upon the choreography one day before shooting day and they practiced it together right before shooting the music video. Azusa Tadokoro Ventures Into a New Land with Latest Release!

“Hakoniwa no Kofuku” Digital Jacket Cover

Popular voice actress-turned-vocalist Azusa Tadokoro who has been active in voice acting in many anime productions, has released her first digital single, “Hakoniwa no Kofuku” across all digital music streaming platforms. She revealed her photos as an artist, the album cover and music video on the 5th of January. This latest image using diorama, where she wore a sensational red costume, is showing the world of the song with a totally different approach than what she has done before in any other of her music videos. Lyrics are written by Kosuke Oki and the song and arrangement are done by Kanda John. The pair have worked together already for her 4th album Waver. This new song is the ending theme song for the TV anime “In the Land of Leadale” which is going to air from 5th January 2022.

Indonesian Trackmaker “Tegra*39” has Released a Remix Version of "Yume To Hazakura" using the vocals of Singing Cosplayer Hikari! And Singing Cosplayer Hikari has Released new Christmas Cover Song!

Since New Year's Day 2021, Singing Cosplayer Hikari has been singing cover songs of anime songs and Vocaloid songs, cosplaying, and promoting Japanese culture to the world. On December 20, Hikari released her 23rd cover song video, a cover of "Silent de nani narainai" sung by Sheryl Nome starring May'n/Lanka Lee = Ai Nakajima, the image song of the anime "Macross F" on her YouTube channel. 

In addition, the cover of "Yume to Hazakura", which was released on April 20 for worldwide music and video distribution, has been viewed over 2.2 million times on YouTube.

The song has been ranked No. 1 on the Apple Music J-Pop chart in 36 countries, and No. 1 in 14 countries. “Yume to Hozakura" is a famous Vocaloid song that was first posted on Nico Nico Douga by Gekkoh Aoki 10 years ago, and on July 17th. On July 17 this year, the 10th anniversary of the song, Japanese music producer U-ske Asada released a 10th Anniversary Remix using the vocal soundtrack of Singing Cosplayer Hikari, and it ranked in the J-Pop charts in Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Poland.

In addition, on October 20, Singing Cosplayer Hikari's a cappella soundtrack was released, and trackmakers from all over the world who love "Yume to Hazakura" have been offering to remix the song, and several projects are currently in the works. The first one is a remix of "Koplo" by Tegra*39 (YouTube channel with 100,000 subscribers and 17.7 million views), who is popular in Indonesia for remixing anime songs and J-Pop into Indonesian traditional music such as koplo, funkot, and breakbeat.

FEMM Follow Up Billboard Hit with New Album ‘Tokyo Girls Anthem’ Out Now! Along with New Music Video!

From the release of their breakthrough girls’ empowerment anthem “Fxxk Boyz Get Money” in 2014, mannequin rap duo FEMM have built a loyal fanbase of music fans and influencers in the West, pioneering a new era for women in the rap scene. Later, their debut album, Femm-Isation, reached the Top 10 of the Billboard World Albums chart in the United States, while also being featured in the Best Indie Albums section at HMV stores across the United Kingdom.

On Friday, December 17, 2021, this unique duo followed their hit debut release with their second full-length album, Tokyo Girls Anthem physically and across all digital music streaming platforms. As the title suggests, it is an album packed with exciting tracks “by girls, for girls”.

A music video for the title track “Tokyo Girls Anthem” will get a YouTube Premiere release on December 24 at noon Japan time. The video was directed by style icon Babymary, director of fashion brand FALINE TOKYO, who is a pioneer of Japan’s girls’ fashion scene and who is beloved by fans all over the world.
