PEDRO Solo Project Ends With A Bang in Her Last Album!

Vocalist Ayuni D of the group BiSH’s solo project PEDRO announced that she will be ending the solo project following her the release of her last album 後日改めて伺います (Gojitsu Aratamete Ukagaimasu) on November 17th and her final concert at Yokohama Arena, Kanagawa in December. The album will contain ten new songs that are both written and composed by Ayuni D herself. It will also drop with three editions: two standard editions that are CD-only and included a bonus DVD along with a limited edition that will come with two additional discs along with a bonus Blu-ray. Both the bonus DVD and Blu-ray will include footage from her SENTIMENTAL POOLSIDE TOUR ＠ Zepp Diver City that took place in September, while the additional discs from the limited editions will include concert audio rips of the performance as well.

Kiyoe Yoshioka Turns A New Leaf with Upcoming Solo Single!

Vocalist of the popular pop rock band Ikimonogakari, Kiyoe Yoshioka announced that she will be making her solo debut starting December 22nd with her work “まっさら” (“Massara”). The song will be the first that vocalist Motohiro Hata and Yoshioka, who both have a close relationship with each other, have written together. The production started in the spring of this year with an enthusiastic offer from Yoshioka. The song was completed after repeated discussions which also incorporates some of Yoshioka's determination to take on new challenges. While the physical edition of single will drop on December 22nd, the song will be made across all digital music streaming platforms on November 29th. The work will also come with only a standard edition that will include a bonus DVD. The DVD will feature the music video for “Massara” along with a behind the scenes making-of.

Novelbright Brings A New Seeker with Upcoming Single!

Five-member rock band Novelbright announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “seeker/ One Room” on November 24th. This will be the latest release done by the band since their album 開幕宣言 (Kaimaku Sengen) back in April and will bet the band’s first major label single since signing with Universal Music Japan back in August of 2020. The title song “seeker” is being used as the theme song for the drama 真犯人フラグ (Shinhannin Flag), with the B-side track “Design of Happiness” being used on the ON THE STREET Niconico program. “One Room” is set to be a ballad style work and is a sequel to the song “ふたつの影” (“Futatsu no Kage”) from their indie days. 

The single will come with two editions: a CD-only standard edition and a limited edition that will come with a bonus DVD. The DVD will include footage from the Kaimaku Sengen live concert that took place at Osaka DROP live house back in July.

ALI Announces Resumption of Activities!

It was announced that ALI will resume its activities from November 18. ALI had originally announced an indefinite suspension of activities following the indictment of former member drummer Kahadio earlier this year in May. A comment from vocalist LEO was posted on the band's official website on the 18th as well, saying, "No matter how beautiful the future that will come, I will carry the past and I will never forget it. It can't be helped if it's pointed out. It can't be helped if someone hates me to death. Still, I want to do ALI music. Even if ALI is treated as a sinner for the rest of my life, music in still the best in the world. Beautiful, the world is beautiful, and life is a wonderful thing worth living, I want to continue to draw and scream through music until I die."

In addition, LEO added to the passage of ALI's famous song "LOST IN PARADISE," "I will continue to be saved by the song and live like a song. Let me tell you for the first time in a long time. Music is the best.”

ALI has also begun to rerelease their songs across all digital streaming platforms. An edited version of the music video "Lost In Paradise feat. AKLO" with AKLO has been released on YouTube.

Gakuto Kajiwara Announces Livestream of First Ever Solo Concert!

Popular voice actor-turned-vocalist Gakuto Kajiwara, who plays leading roles in multiple top anime shows, released his first ever mini-album “Doko ka no Kimi ni” on October 20, 2021. Now he has announced that he will follow the release with his debut solo concert, which will be held on his birthday: Sunday, November 28, 2021. The concert will be broadcast on livestreaming platform Zaiko and available to view from all around the world. While the mini-album’s title translates roughly as “To You, Wherever You Are”, the concert is titled 1st ONE MAN LIVE “Koko ni iru Kimi ni”, which means “To You, Right Here” – fitting perfectly with the themes of the mini-album.

Kajiwara commented, “This is a collection of songs that shine when you hear them for yourself in a live setting. I hope to be able to touch the audience deep inside and leave something behind.”
