MindaRyn Reaching for Daylight in Her Upcoming Release!

Vocalist MindaRyn, who is a Thai anisong singer who gained popularity through her anisong cover videos, and her YouTube channel has nearly 1 million subscribers. She made her major debut in Japan last year, and her latest single “Like Flames” music video has been viewed over 4 million times on YouTube. Her long-awaited 4th Single “Daylight” will be released on February 23, 2022!

The title track “Daylight” is a cool, emotional rock song about solitude and the warmth that surrounds it. This is set to be the opening theme song of the 2nd season of Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest, a TV anime that starts in January 2022. This will be the first official theme song sung by MindaRyn with full English lyrics.

In addition, the title track of MindaRyn’s 3rd single “Shine,” which is the ending theme song of Sacks&Guns!!, will be available early on October 15 at midnight. The “Shine” music video will premiere on MindaRyn’s YouTube channel at the same time.

Reincarnated as a Slime season 2 aired in July 2021, Sacks&Guns!! will air in October, and Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest will air next January, meaning that MindaRyn will have three consecutive works with an anime-tie.

MindaRyn had commented about the release stating “‘Daylight’ is a cool, emotional rock song about solitude and the warmth that surrounds it. This will be my first anime theme song with all of the lyrics in English! I hope you’ll listen to it many times and savor the feelings in the lyrics.”

CAELAN of INTERSECTION Bring Fans Together With Solo Debut Single!

CAELAN from Japanese-American mixed-culture boyband INTERSECTION had released his first solo single “Forever With You” back on October 8 across all digital music streaming platforms.

CAELAN’s popularity has exploded across Asia since his appearance in February 2021 on CHUANG2021, the massively successful Chinese version of hit audition show PRODUCE 101, where viewers were mesmerized by his world-class performance ability and unique personality. The show generated some 5 billion views, and CAELAN’s account on Chinese social media platform Weibo reached 1.77 million followers.

CALEAN has since become a major celebrity in China, where he has appeared in commercials for national brands, graced the covers of high-fashion magazines as a style icon, and won the grand prize in the Idol category at this year’s InStyle Icon Awards in Shanghai.

His incredible team of songwriting and production collaborators on debut solo single “Forever With You” includes j.Que, the Grammy-nominated super-producer who has crafted hits for Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Beyoncé, as well as David Arkwright, the red-hot songwriter behind Bella Poarch’s hit ‘Build A Bitch’, and songwriters Kinderr and Theo Ross Rosenthal. The result is a song that captures the sound of “now”. CAELAN himself has co-written the Chinese-language version of the lyrics and designed the cover art.

The music video has a rich and textured cinematic feel, with a grand scale that shows CALEAN singing on a mountaintop surrounded by nature and in a car filled with flowers, dressed stylishly in vivid colors and giving off an intense presence. The story of the video expresses his experience of embarking on a new path, learning to put growing pains behind him as he becomes an adult and finds his true identity as “himself”.

GARNiDELiA Brakes into A New Code with Upcoming Album!

Popular duo GARNiDELiA, a unit of two members consisting of MARiA and toku, announced that they will release their first  album since they transferred to the label Pony Canyon, called Duality Code. This is their fifth Original album . They also announced that they will have a live performance tour in 5 cities in Japan from the 5th of December.

GARNiDELiA is a unit consisting of female vocalist MARiA and composer toku. They made their major debut in 2014 and they have worked for many collaborations with anime series in the past. After they transferred to Pony Canyon they released individual solo works for a year. They just restarted their activity together from this new album. On the day of their debut anniversary the release of this new album was told to their fan club members through a streaming program before it was revealed to the media.

As the title of the album “Duality” suggests, the two individual talents and beliefs were put into this creation once again. Their 5th album will be the one in which GARNiDELiA restarts their 12th year of career. This album will include 12 songs including “Otome no Kokoroe” which is the opening theme song of TV anime Taishou Otome Fairy tale and “Haruga Kitayo” ‘which is the opening theme song of TV drama Douse Mou Nigerarenai.“Haruga Kitayo” was released for streaming from September 17 prior to the releasing of the album because of the broadcasting of the drama. “Otome no kokoroe” has also been released for streaming to meet the date of the broadcasting of the anime this past week and the music video has been also released.

They also announced that they are going to have a live performance tour in Japan called, GARNiDELiA stellacage tour 2021→2022 “Duality Code”, which will start from December 5th at CLUB CITTA‘. They will visit 5 cities on tour and they have revealed their new visual for this.

SCANDAL Brings Fans Together with Latest Release!

“one more time” Digital Jacket Cover

Fresh from celebrating their 15th anniversary in August, popular four-member rock band SCANDAL, release their latest music video today. The track is entitled “one more time” and was originally released as a single last week. The track has been picked up by eight official Spotify playlists with a total of 645,000 listeners, and the band has also been selected as the cover stars of Spotify’s She Rocks playlist. The track also entered Amazon Music’s trending list in the UK upon its release.

“one more time” music video sees マザーファッ子 return as director. She had previously worked on SCANDAL’s “Fuzzy” and “Saishuheiki Kimi” music videos from latest album Kiss from the darkness. Both videos have been viewed over one million times each on YouTube. The video is shot with all four members of SCANDAL enjoying themselves at a home party, eating sweets, dancing around the kitchen, playing cards and more. The music video captures the song’s positive message, “I don’t need a special ticket to purely enjoy what I like and the music I like”.

The single of “one more time” will be released later this month physically internationally through  our friends at JPU Records as a limited-edition tape cassette. The package includes English lyric translations and Romaji transliterations and is limited to just 100 copies.

INUWASI Brings A Sense of DUTY With Upcoming Album!

Up-and-coming six-member girl idol group INUWASI announced that they will be releasing a brand new album, DUTY, November 2. This will be the group’s first full album since their debut last year. This album is an ambitious work which challenges a wide range of genres, featuring elements of electronica pop while following the hard, loud, and metalcore sounds of previous works. In addition, the production team includes Kaoru Tsujihisa and Tomoki Yamashita, who have provided songs in the past. The album will feature a total of fourteen songs, with some written by the up-and-coming young songwriter dirty magiq and new songs written by former Aqua Timez OKP-STAR. Two music videos will be released from the album as well and a CD-only standard edition will be available.
