milet Expands Her Vision With Upcoming Album!

Vocalist milet announced that she will be releasing a brand new album, visions, January 19 2022. This will be her latest album release since her album eyes back in June of 2020 and will be her second album. The work will boast fifteen tracks and include her latest release of TV drama related songs: “Ordinary days”, “Who I Am”, and “The Hardest”. milet commented about the upcoming release, saying, “ I want everyone who listens to this to be able to draw a new vision or dream through the sound of this work; at least, that is my hope”. visions will drop with three editions: a CD-only standard edition and two limited editions which will come with a bonus DVD/Blu-ray. The bonus DVD and Blu-ray will include several music videos featured on the album but the Blu-ray will also feature milet’s second anniversary live concert, You & I, which took place earlier in the year.

Sumire Uesaka Brings A New Life with Latest Release!

Voice actress-turned-vocalist Sumire Uesaka’s latest single EASY LOVE has been a smash hit across the globe. It’s had over four million streams on Spotify, 25 million plays on YouTube, and became the opening theme song to popular anime Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro. Now the artist and voice actress has announced her next single!

Seikatsu Konkyu Dame Dinero” (‘Life Is Hard DAME DINERO’), it will be Sumire Uesaka’s 12th single and will comprise of six-tracks. The title track is available across all digital music streaming platforms now, and has been selected as the second opening theme to anime series The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!.

The track is an intense, hyperactive burst of energy with the message “to do your best being positive in this difficult world”. It’s composed by Kenichi Maeyamada, one of the leading creative forces in the Japanese entertainment world. He’s produced for the likes of Dempagumi.inc, Momoiro Clover Z and AKB48, and his remixes of classic video games, anime and more have been played over 63 million times from her Youtube channel, and millions more on Nico Nico Douga. He’s also a pillar in Sumire Uesaka’s distinctive sound, frequently working with her since her debut as an artist eight years ago.

The second track is titled “Monodomo No Utage”, a digital rock track written by Uesaka herself with theme of “dancing until you fall asleep”. It’s also the theme song to Uesaka’s weekly talk show on YouTube.

Third track “Drops” is also written by  Uesaka and is an emotional song about the feelings of faint love. Instrumental versions of all tracks are also included with the single, which will be available from 27 October 2021.

MyAnimeList Opens Blue Period Art Contest and to Hold Livestream Talk Event with Anime Staff/Cast!

Popular anime site MyAnimeList Co.,Ltd (MyAnimeList) has opened a global art contest to celebrate the airing of the anime BLUE PERIOD. The contest has the theme "Post your Blue'" and is open to participants no matter their location. As well as prizes for the top 30 selected works, a prize draw will be held to give all entrants the chance to win exciting prizes. Entries are open until 17:59 (PT) October 31 2021)

To commemorate the opening of the contest, a special livestream event will be held on the official MyAnimeList YouTube channel. The stream will consist of a talk event with the anime’s director Koji Masunari as well as Hiromu Mineta, who is voicing protagonist Yatora.

The talk event will give viewers a look into the theme of "blue", and will allow viewers to ask questions to be answered live during the stream.

■About the "Blue Period International Art Exhibition" event

The Blue Period International Art Exhibition allows participants to submit an art piece in any medium that uses the theme "Post your Blue" This does not necessarily mean to be blue in color, to reflect what feels "Blue" to the entrant.

The contest will collate all these different interpretations of "Blue" from participants into a single art piece, and by doing so aims to broaden the meaning of "Blue" and deepen the understanding of BLUE PERIOD.

All entries received will be combined into a single photomosaic art piece. The piece will be uploaded to the internet for anybody to view, and can be zoomed in enough to see all the entries.

Singing Cosplayer Hikari has been actively working on spreading the charm of Japanese culture to the world through her cosplay and cover songs of anime and vocaloid. And she just released her latest cover song of “THE HERO!!” by JAM Project, which is the opening theme song of anime One-Punch Man. The wait is finally over as it’s available across all digital music streaming platforms from October 2 along with the music video being released on YouTube as well. Singing Cosplayer Hikari made her debut on SNS on January 1 this year and she quickly became a massive hit for streaming the vocaloid cover song “Yume to Hazakura” (Lyrics and music by Aoki Gekkou) by Hatsune Miku. The song was released to the world on April 20.

The song was ranked in 36 countries in total on the J-POP chart of Apple Music / iTunes, and got No.1 in 14 countries including France, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam,Italy, Holland, Luxembourg, Poland, Mongol, Ukraina, Kazakhstan, Macao, and South Africa. Her activities have been highly celebrated in Europe as she joined HYPER JAPAN ONLINE 2021 in the UK in July. She appeared in the event in three roles as a singer, cosplayer and fashion model.

People constantly loved what she wore in the music video and this time she chose her favorite Japanese clothes brand called “JEANASIS” which she enjoys wearing regularly. Hikari wore the rock taste costume chosen especially for the image of this song. Fans might be familiar with Singing Cosplayer Hikari wearing cosplay, school uniform and kimonos but this time people can enjoy a different side of her with rock spirit.

KiRiSaMe UNDERTAKER Shows A New Color With Part One of Their New Project!

The project of covering the theme songs of SUNRISE’s anime works by “KiRiSaMe UNDERTAKER” has started. KiRiSaMe UNDERTAKER is a five-member band who belong to the SUNRISE Music Label.

The label, SUNRISE Music has been producing a lot of music for popular anime series, such as GUNDAM, the Love Live!, the CODE GEASS, and COWBOY BEBOP.

KiRiSaMe UNDERTAKER is the band which belongs to the label and they made their debut with “Stereo to Monologue” which is the opening theme song for the anime Double Decker! Doug & Kirill in 2018.

Their motto is, “create and bring the music which is close to the contents of the works with our best efforts”. They have been making many theme songs, inserting music and character songs for anime and games. They produce music with precise arrangement and also using smart programming. Their strength is using music from a wide range of genres beside rock.

Their works include SD GUNDAM World sangoku Soketsuden, ZENONZARD THE ANIMATION, and Code Geass Genesic Re;CODE .

Today the music video of the cover song “COLORS” has been released. “COLORS” is the opening theme song of “Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion” and vocalist  Joshua mentions that he loves the anime. To cover this song, the band arranged the song with the intention of love and respect for the original song. Also, the shooting of the video was done at the head office of SUNRISE.
