GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE Ventures to the Unchained World with Latest Music Video!

“Unchained World” Jacket Cover

“Unchained World” Jacket Cover

The music video of GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE's new single "Unchained World," which will drop on October 6, was released. The track is a dance number with a rock taste full of a sense of speed and gravity, and is the ending theme of the anime Baki Hanma which will be streamed simultaneously all over the world on Netflix starting on September 30.

The highlight of the music video is the intense and fast performance by all the members including the vocalists. This is the first time in about four and a half years since the single "Taiyo mo Tsuki mo" (released on April 12, 2017) that the members have danced as intensely as in this video.

Under the theme of "Unchained," which is also used in the title of the track, has choreography that shows a manly and powerful GENERATIONS. It’s choreography that seems to release the chains that bound their bodies and allows them to express the power of the track and lyrics. In the video, images of the Netflix anime Baki Hanma are included in various scenes, and there is also choreography that looks like fighting in the world of the anime, so keep an eye out for that!

Additionally, the jacket photo of the illustration of the GENERATIONS members and the characters of Baki Hanma together was also released.

You can apply for the online event with the serial code that is enclosed in the first press edition of this album! Be sure to check out the music video in questions along with the pre-order links for “Unchained World” below!

Natsumi Murakami and Chiemi Tanaka, voice actresses who also voice the members of Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, have formed a unit of their own and made their debut through Lantis, the music label of Bandai Namco Arts.

The name of this unit, NACHERRY, is a combination of their first names (Natsumi & Chiemi) and represents the idea of “two-in-one” like a double cherry. Natsumi and Chiemi came up with this name based on the desire to “have twice as much fun and make up for each other’s shortcomings.” The logo is pink, their favorite color, and features the cherry in their name.

NACHERRY is based on the concept of “Constant excitement with girls who are straightforward about what they like and never forget their sense of fun.” These two colorful, poppy girls will sing positive American-style rock songs and bring excitement to audiences.

Their debut single “Fortune Teller” will be released digitally on October 6. This song was written by Maria Okada and composed by Takahiro Yamada, bassist of ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION. In true NACHERRY fashion, “Fortune Teller” is a speedy rock song that expresses the idea of “being yourself and doing what you like” to encourage people who lack confidence and are worried about what others think.

As we look forward to the upcoming debut be sure to check out their NACHERRY’s Official website and Twitter also with the artist debut video below!

“Show Me How Remix” Digital Jacket Cover

Tokyo based singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Maika Loubté releases a newly reimagined remix of one of her most popular tracks Show Me How from renowned Japanese producer, Kan Sano on September 22, across all digital streaming platforms. This ethereal remix maintains the similar emotion of the original track, while giving it a new life by adding light, youthful, and percussive energy. Kan Sano, a keyboardist, remixer, and producer who has worked with many artists across Japan is one of the most important figures in the country’s music scene today.

Last October, Loubté released the original version of “Show Me How” to coincide with a national advertising campaign for Mazda’s MAZDA MX-30 new car model that featured the song and Loubté herself in the TV commercial.  With a unique approach through her music, Loubté expresses the challenges and importance of communication which has resonated with audiences throughout Japan and abroad making “Show Me How” a hit amongst her fans and one of her most streamed songs to date.

About the new remix, Loubté comments, “‘Show Me How,’ with its introspective lyrics and analog texture, was remixed by Kan Sano to give it a youthful and hopeful energy.  As the world continues to battle through challenges in 2021, I hope this track can bring everyone around the globe some light and make them want to dance into a new era.” Kan Sano adds “I never thought I would be remixing one of my favorite songs from last year! Since I love Loubté’s song so much, my challenge was not to tamper with the arrangement too much. I can't quite surpass the splendor of the original, but I think I was able to create a different expression of ‘Show Me How.’ With Loubté’s voice being so special, I was reassured that no matter how the song was reworked, her vocals would make the track turn out just fine. Through the remixing process, I realized once again the beauty of the melody and lyrics in her songwriting.”

Loubté also has a new music video which accompanies the remix that was filmed in one take at the Institut français du Japon in Tokyo which is below along with the streaming link for “Show Me How” here!
