TICKETS NOW ON SALE FOR HYDE'S 20TH Anniversary Orchestral Concert

Tickets are now on sale for HYDE's 20th anniversary live event "20th Orchestra Concert 2021 HYDE HEIANJINGU". The two days of performances will also be broadcasted live in movie theaters across Japan and streamed live worldwide. Archive viewing of the concert will be available to fans so they can enjoy the event in their own time zones. 

The special event celebrating HYDE's two decades as a solo artist will be performed live at Heian Shrine in Kyoto, one of Japan's top cultural landmarks. The magnificent and emotional orchestral production at Heian Shrine was chosen by HYDE to celebrate his 20th anniversary since his solo project started in 2001.

In addition to his multiple contributions to television, film, anime, and video games, the internationally acclaimed rock vocalist has set records as a recording artist and live performer in Japan and toured internationally on many occasions. HYDE digitally released his latest song "NOSTALGIC" on June 25, just as he kicked off the Japan-wide "20th Orchestra Tour HYDE ROENTGEN 2021" summer tour.

MAN WITH A MISSION Goes 'Plus Ultra' with Latest Release!

Popular five-member rock band MAN WITH A MISSION, just released their latest single called, “INTO THE DEEP” on June 9, just announced more exciting news about a new song!! This new song called “Merry-Go-Round” is featured as the new opening theme song for the popular superhero Anime My Hero Academia for the second term of season 5. MWAM who composed the song commented that the members have also been a big fan of the original manga.  ‘I was so pleased that I had the great opportunity of creating the opening theme song for My Hero Academia since I truly love this manga series!’ Their latest song consisted of a dramatic and strong sound. 

This song is about the frustrated and endless circulation of one’s emotion when people aim to achieve something. Like the song title “Merry-Go-Round”, it describes when you run passionately after trying to reach someone special which is your aim, but you don’t feel like you are achieving or getting closer at all. This new opening theme song was first heard on Saturday June 26 and their new PV with the footage of the new opening sequence was also released prior to the broadcasting of the theme song on TV. The digital distribution of “Merry-Go-Round” starts on the July 17 on all music streaming platforms!

Singing Cosplayer Hikari Flutters a Brand New Remix for "Yume to Hazakura"! She also made her debut as a model for the kimono brand “Furifu” at the UK event!

Popular singing Cosplayer Hikari, who has been actively introducing Japanese culture to the world by cosplaying characters and singing songs from anime and Vocaloid, has started distributing "Yume to Hazakura (10th Anniversary Remix)" in both digital music streaming platforms and video worldwide, and has also released the video on YouTube."Yume to Hazakura" was written by Gekkoh Aoki and released as a vocaloid song by Hatsune Miku on Nico Nico Douga on July the 17th, 2011, exactly 10 years ago. Singing Cosplayer Hikari covered this song, which has been loved for a long time in Japan and abroad, and released a video of the cover song on YouTube on April the 12 this year, which has been viewed from all over the world more than 1.55 million times. 

In addition, when the worldwide distribution of Singing Cosplayer Hikari's cover music and videos started on April the 20th, it charted on Apple Music / iTunes J-Pop charts in 25 countries around the world, and reached No. 1 in 11 countries and regions, including France, Indonesia, Vietnam, Italy, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mongolia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Macau, and the Republic of South Africa, and is still ranked highly in each country.

As the 10th anniversary of this song approaches on July the 17, they have decided to create a new version of "Yume to Hazakura," to celebrate its popularity worldwide and allow for more to hear and love it! U-SKE Asada, who has been working on the sound production of Singing Cosplayer Hikari's cover version of "Yume to Hazakura", took charge of the 10th Anniversary Remix using the sound source of her cover and with confirmation from the writer Gekkoh Aoki.

After the cover song became a hot topic in Europe, reaching No. 1 on the J-Pop charts in France and Italy, she got the opportunity to appear at HYPER JAPAN ONLINE 2021, the largest Japanese culture festival in the UK. The video of Hikari singing at the Enoshima Sea Candle has already been released on YouTube, and she is performing "Yume to Hazakura" as the last song in the "HYPER Show!”, the music section of that event. In addition, Singing Cosplayer Hikari also made her debut as a model for the kimono brand Furifu HYPER JAPAN ONLINE 2021, HYPER Fashion ONLINE! -July 17 Sat 18:00 (Japan time) released on HYPER JAPAN ONLINE 2021 Fashion section HYPER Fashion ONLINE!

This video is not just showing the fashion, but is also an expression of Furifu's theme for this season, "East Wind (Kochi)". The video was shot in the entrance, Japanese-style room, veranda, and garden of a traditional Japanese house, interspersed with traditional Japanese culture such as ikebana and calligraphy, while showing the wind is everywhere. The video was directed by Maki Taguchi, who has been in charge of photography since Singing Cosplayer Hikari's debut and produced by the video staff who have been producing her cover song videos. In this video, Singing Cosplayer Hikari shows off her four kimono outfits: the RENDEZVOUS she wears in "Yume to Hayazakura", the yukata with the striking cat obi, "One-sided foil crest" she wears in the HYPER Show! video, plus another yukata "Tsubaki Overgine" and "Maribonbon" in furisode. Notice her fashion model persona which is different from her usual musical performance. 

Lastly, she has already appeared on HYPER JAPAN ONLINE 2021 as a "singer" and a "model", but she will be appearing live as a "cosplayer" from 10:00 a.m. on July 18 (Japan time), singing one song live while wearing a cosplay costume, so be sure to check it out. 

Creepy Nuts Brings It Back Again With Upcoming Album!

Duo Creepy Nuts announced that they will be releasing a brand new album September 1. Currently untitled, this will be the latest album release by the group since their mini-album かつて天才だった俺たちへ (Katsute Tensaidatta Oretachi he) back in August of last year and it will be their second album overall. The album includes already-released songs such as "Bareru!", "Who am I", "顔役" (“Kaoyaku”), and "Lazy Boy", as well as "Bad Orangez"—which has already become a popular song at live performances—and new track “Kazerai". The album will drop with three editions: a CD-only standard edition and two limited editions which will come with a bonus Blu-ray and T-shirts whose designs are based off of the aesthetics of the duo’s latest live tour.

22/7 Blooms in Their Own Way With Latest Music Video!

To hype up their upcoming album, voice actress idol group 22/7 released the music video for their track “Hyacinth” on their YouTube channel. The track is to be included on their first album 11という名の永遠の素数 (11 to Iuna no Eien no Sousu no Shoroku Kyokude) which will be released July 14. The music video, like the group’s previously released work, is composed entirely in animation. It was produced by Kohei Kadowaki, an animation writer who worked on the music video for YOASOBI's “Yasashi Suisei”. The world view of Yasushi Akimoto's lyrics is expressed in a nostalgic image and the inclusion of the eleven members and homage to past music videos are also visualized in this work as well.

11 to Iuna no Eien no Sousu no Shoroku Kyokude will be released with eleven tracks total and will drop with four editions: a CD-only standard edition and three limited editions lovingly called Types A-C. The limited edition will come with a bonus CD and Blu-ray with Type A featuring the voice actress character songs and footage from their 僕が持ってるものなら (Boku ga Motteru mononara) live concert that took place in February. Type B’s CD will include the group’s Unit Songs with the Blu-ray featuring the evening performance of the Boku ga Motteru mononara concert. Type C’s CD will include several of their best coupling tracks, with the Blu-ray featuring several music videos along with a behind-the-scenes making-of for the live concert.
